DPW “The Nightmare Has Begun”
Live at the BankAtlantic Center
XS: Welcome everyone to another exciting edition of Demolition Pro Wrestling. Tonight, Corey O’Brian defends the DPW World Championship against the vicious Joe “Danger” Smith, who has recruited a gang he calls “The Nightmares” against our promotion...
”When Skin Turns Blue” by Six Feet Under hits as the boss, OctoberRaven, comes out
OR: Joe “Danger” Smith... first of all, fuck you, and fuck your little clique. Second of all, Smith, while you have immunity in this company... your Nightmares do not. If any of them interfere with tonight’s main event, ALL of them will be fired on the spot. And as far as the status of Hotaka Tokudo... he’s having to have a knee surgery that will take him out of action... possibly permanently. Now, with that out of the way.... it’s time for our first match!
AM: This match is the biggest challenge yet for the youngest women’s wrestling champion ever, Gutter. At 17 years old Gutter defeated Catrine Metzger at The Punishment Due. Tonight, she faces Jane Porter, whose tag team partner Crazy Red knows Gutter very well from Jersey All Women’s Sports, where Gutter got her start.
DPW-J Title Match: Jane Porter (w/ Lucy Gold) vs Gutter
The two women came out swinging for the fences, neither gaining the upper hand until Gutter headbutted Porter, going for a knee drop which Porter would roll away from, following up with a spinning toe hold. Gutter managed to kick Porter off and elbow her in the face, following up with a dropkick. Porter got back to her feet and shoved Gutter in the corner, delivering a series of elbows and knees before throwing Gutter in the middle of the ring. Gutter would get back up only to get scooped and slammed... only to get up again just to take another slam, this one followed by and elbow to the heart and a two count.
Jane would deliver a brainbuster to Gutter, picking her up by her hair only for Gutter to headbutt her in the midsection and go behind her for a backdrop. Gutter would go to the top rope for a Mad Splash! One, two, kickout at two. Jane would block a Gutter punch, firing back with a series of her own and a powerbomb. Jane would then lower her elbow pad for her signature “Texas Lariat”...
XS: This is it!
When “Dream On” by Aerosmith, Lucy Gold’s music, would hit. Jane would look over to the entrance ramp and a woman who looked like a slightly shorter version of Lucy Gold in her GOLD*STAR mask appeared on the ramp. Lucy would go after the impostor, and Jane would turn around... right into a Gutter Cleaner (Running Jumping DDT). One, two, three! Gutter would look over to the brawling Gold and her impostor as well, also confused by the turn of events, but shrugged and headed out of the arena through the crowd with the DPW-J Championship. The impostor would hit Lucy with the “Golden Sword” (Tornado Chop), Lucy’s own signature strike, flooring the unmasked woman and the fake GOLD*STAR would make an escape, Jane Porter checking on her fallen friend.
AM: As the kids are saying these days, “How The”.
XS: How The indeed, Angus... Gutter retains her title but one has to wonder if it’d be different if that fake GOLD*STAR didn’t show.
AM: I agree with that... coming up next, two of our premier tag teams, Anarchy in the UK and the boyfriend/girlfriend team of Frank Desmond and REIKA, are going at it.
Anarchy in the UK (Kevin Williams and Thomas Clarke) vs Frank Desmond and REIKA
Williams and REIKA started out, and Williams got the headlock takeover, applying the hold until REIKA stood him up, shoved him off to the ropes and gave him a drop toe hold floating over to a headlock of her own. Kevin would pull REIKA up as well and tag Clarke with his foot, Clarke getting behind REIKA to assist with a double backdrop, Clarke floating over for a two count. REIKA would hit a kneelkick and tag to Desmond who hit a lariat to Clarke and followed up with an elbow drop. Clarke managed to recover and get a snap suplex followed up with a butterfly suplex, rolling through and applying a half crab. Desmond escaped and went for a Stunner but Clarke hit “Her Majesty’s Backbreaker” and tagged Kevin who went to the top rope and delivered a knee drop. He then set up for an “Anarchy Slam” but Desmond elbowed out of it... CHOKESLAM! He tagged in REIKA, who hit the REIKA DiveBomb for the three count.
AM: What a great showing and the female phenom of DPW got another win.
XS: Coming up next, a battle thats going to get personal and fast. Genocide was betrayed by his Red Death tag team partner Shinokumo and has a chance for revenge in a submission match.... WHAT THE...
As Genocide was heading to the ring, Joe “Danger” Smith jumps the guardrail and hits a Blitz on Genocide! Shinokumo enters the ring from the other side as Smith rolls Genocide into the ring.
Submission Match: Genocide vs Shinokumo
Shinokumo immediately started pounding on Genocide, then after laying into him tried to again rip his mask off, but Genocide managed to get into a guard smoothly transition to a guillotine choke until Shinokumo got to the ropes. Genocide got to his feet and went for a Roaring Elbow but Shinokumo dropkicked him in the leg and delivered a knee drop to the back of the head followed by an elbow as well before applying a headlock. Genocide would get to his feet but Shinokumo took him back down. Genocide's arm was raised three times and stayed up the third, slipping out of the headlock and quickly applied a wakigatame! Shinokumo again got to the ropes, and Smith got on the apron. This was just to distract the referee and Genocide, as Shinokumo recovered... mist to the eyes of Genocide! He then kicked Genocide into the stomach and set up for the Blood Web Driver, but Genocide backdropped out and hit a forearm to the throat of Smith! A Genocide Kick to Shinokumo was followed up with a Kimura Armbar, and Shinokumo tapped out!
AM: Genocide pulling that win out by the skin of his... OH COME ON...
Smith would get in the ring and pound on Genocide, scooping him up onto his shoulder and dropping him with a "Goalpost Tombstone" SPIKING him on his neck! He went to set up for another one but Corey O'Brian would head out there and Smith would start to put Genocide down... before using him as a battering ram right into O'Brian's stomach! O'Brian was stunned by the battering ram.... BLITZ! He rolled out of the ring and dragged O'Brian to the steel steps, and then POWERBOMBED him onto them. Smith would then walk away, making a belt motion to the unconsious O'Brian
XS: OH MY GOD! SOMEONE GET EMTS OUT HERE!
Corey would be wheeled out on a stretcher, and Angus and Xander were dead silent as "This is Halloween" played and Edward Jones crawled to the ring... Mike Blood wouldn't even wait for his entrance music, not even bothering to take off his shirt as he charged the ring to start the next fight
"Halloween" Edward Jones vs Mike Blood
Blood would rush Jones with a knee to the face, mounted punches to the face following up until Jones counters by tossing him off and putting him neckfirst onto the ropes, following up with a backdrop. Jones would scoop and slam blood and deliver a knee drop before crawling to the ropes on all fours before standing up. Blood would recover to get hit with a lariat, picking himself up and superkicking Edward Jones, ripping his own shirt off and choking Jones with it before the ref made him stop. Blood delivered a backbreaker and a leg drop for a two count. He picked him up and got punched in the sternum before headbutted and hit with a jigoku-zuki, picking Blood up and slamming him with a front powerslam, crawling around on all fours again.
XS: That dude scares me.
Jones would go and pick Blood up and irish whip him to the ropes... counter... LARIATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
AM + XS: LARIATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
One, two, Jones's leg on the rope! Blood is shocked, and goes to set up for the "Bloody Wizard", but Jones catches him for an "Elm Street Slam" (Side slam) then grabs Blood's arms, crosses them, and steps over sitting on his back for a submission hold
XS: He calls this the Vorhees Clutch!
Blood tries to fight out, but he eventually passes out in the hold, Jones laughing psychotically as the bell rings.
AM: This is insanity, folks... Smith and his Nightmares are picking DPW apart...
Suddenly, "1776" by Iced Earth hit, and Chris Koger headed down the ramp
XS: Oh no.
Koger went into the ring, and Edward stepped off, motioning to Blood to let him have his shots... and Koger just stood there, giving officials time to help Blood escape.
AM: Well Koger his here... don't know if he was thinking of attacking Blood or what.... but here's Yoshiro Tenmaku... as you know Tenmaku and Koger have some bad blood, stemming at the DPW Tokyo Dome Show where Koger interfered in Tenmaku's chance at the DPW Title held at the time by Monster Takeshi. Some say that had Koger not interfered, Yoshiro Tenmaku might have won.
Chris Koger vs Yoshiro Tenmaku
Koger wanted to lock up with Tenmaku, who was not in the mood for any games and dropkicked Koger in the knee and went for a camel clutch. Koger would get to his feet and snapmare Yoshiro off of him and deliver a knee drop, hoisting him back up for a suplex. Tenmaku would recover with a sobat and a running kneel kick, heading to the top rope for a moonsault, but Koger would get up and catch him on the turnbuckle for a “Patriot Act” (Tornado Bomb) for a nearfall. Koger would follow up with a lariat, but Tenmaku would kip-up and get behind him to set for a Kudome Valentine, but had problems lifting Koger. So, he got back to a vertical base, dropkicked Koger in the back sending him onto the ropes, and when Koger stumbled back used the momentum for a Kudome Valentine! A cover got a two count, and Tenmaku was ready to end this match, throwing Koger into the corner. He tried to hoist Koger onto the top rope for Tenmaku Heaven (Super Diamond Dust), but Koger blocked it and set for a Koger Driver in the corner, but Tenmaku floated out and landed on his feet on the apron, springboarding and catching Koger in a modified Diamond Dust!
One...
Two...
Joe “Danger” Smith drags the referee out of the ring! The referee calls for the bell and Smith entered the ring, hitting a Blitz on Yoshiro Tenmaku and helping Koger up to raise “American Made”’s hand.... and Koger decked him with a lariat!
XS: WHOA! Didn’t see that one coming!
AM: Neither did Smith, and here comes the Nightmares...
The Nightmares head to the ring, and “When Skin Turns Blue” hits and OctoberRaven comes out.
OR: The first one of you that takes another step is fired. Now, Koger, Tenmaku, I’m ruling this one a draw as neither of you meant for Smith to get involved. And Koger, I’m glad you chose this company over Smith’s agenda.
Koger took a mic
Koger: Save it. I’m not on your side. America doesn’t want or need allies, we don’t help anybody and we can do fine without help from anybody. Can I go?
OR: Fine. As for the rest of you... every Nightmare who does NOT have a match, you’re kicked out of the building. Gacy, Daisatsu, after you’re done here, you’re kicked out too. If ANYONE interferes with the main event they will be banned from this company and I will personally see to it that you never work for any promotion in Florida, and I will make sure you never find work with any of our affiliates out of state... including UBL. And now, let’s bring in Masashi Togashi...
“Dragon’s Child” by Iced Earth hits as Togashi heads to the ramp.
OR: And his tag team partner...*reads the card, gives Togashi an ‘are you serious’ look, then shrugs* “Epic Win” Jin Haisha!
AM: Wait, “Epic Win”?
XS: I guess he’s not “Most Failure” anymore...
“Beat It” by Michael Jackson hits as Jin Haisha struts down the ring, wearing white tights with rhinestones all over them!
XS: Ow! My eyes!
AM: So that’s why I was told to wear sunglasses.
Tag Team Title Match: Masashi Togashi and Jin Haisha(!) vs Satanic Legion(c)
Togashi and Daisatsu started out who put a headlock on Togahi who reversed with a hammerlock and transitioned to a headlock of his own. Daisatsu threw Togashi off and gave him a shoulder tackle, following up with a leg drop across the throat. Daisatu delivered a snake eyes in his corner and tagged in Gacy, who followed up with a backbreaker for a two count. Togashi would get slammed and Gacy stepped on his neck for a three count, and goes for the shoulderbreaker followed up with an elbow drop, then CHOKED Togashi. He would throw him to the ropes for the “Spike Through Your Head” big boot but Togashi ducked and tagged in Haisha! Haisha would go for the chops, but they had no effect on Gacy... Haisha would try some elbows but again Gacy seemed unharmed. A lariat however FLOORED Gacy and Haisha would apply a crab. Daisatsu broke it up and headbutted Haisha... blocked! Haisha would superkick Daisatsu who would go tumbling to the floor! However this gave Gacy the opening for the “Spike Through Your Head” and a “Black Spiral Dance” (Turbo Drop).
XS: It’s over, nobody kicks out of this.
One... two.. KICKOUT! Gacy is FURIOUS and goes for another, but Haisha takes the backdoor and sets for a pumphandle position. Haisha’s leg would be tripped by Daisatsu long enough for Haisha to be put on Gacy’s shoulders, going for an airplane spin, meanwhile Daisatsu would pull Togashi off the apron and hit a “Satanic Offering” (Tiger Driver 91) on the floor! Meanwhile Gacy drops Haisha down powerbomb style for a “Devil’s Black Spiral Dance”(Mammoth Buster) for a three count.
AM: And one again the destructive duo retain their titles.
XS: Coming up next folks, a number one contenders match, Chris DaMico battles the unstoppable Monster Takeshi.
Chris DaMico vs Monster Takeshi
Chris DaMico and Monster Takeshi squared off, kicking Takeshi in the leg a couple times, rolling under an attempt at a lunge forward and dropkicking Takeshi in the back of the leg to little effect. Takeshi would swing at DaMico and knock the smaller man down, picking him up and headbutting him before slamming him into the canvas and hit a fist drop. Takeshi began pressing his advantage now, kneeing DaMico in the gut and hitting an Uraken and going for a cover. One, two, kickout. DaMico would catch a second Uraken and go for a superkick which didn’t do much to Takeshi, and DaMico went for a DaMico DDT but Takeshi hoists him up for a spinebuster. Cover, two, kickout. Takeshi would set for a Tokyo Tower Bomb but DaMico would crawl under the legs of Takeshi and then get a schoolboy for a two-count. DaMico tried the one-legged dropkick which made Takeshi reel, but when he went for “La Rosa Del Entiero” he couldn’t roll the big man over and Takeshi got him with a Russian Legsweep. Takeshi would follow up with a Knockout Lariat and set for the Falcon Arrow Driver, but DaMico floated over, hopped on Takeshi’s shoulders, spun around... MYSTERIO RANA! ONE, TWO, THREE!!!
AM: NO WAY
XS: DAMICO HAS PINNED MONSTER TAKESHI! HE DID WHAT NOBODY COULD DO!
AM: That was amazing... next up, folks, here comes the match to determine who DaMico will be facing for the championship: Smith is already in the ring, and here comes O’Brian, and tonight he’s coming out to “The Hunter” by Iced Earth, and I think that means he means business... although he can’t be at one hundred percent what with being attacked earlier and still recovering from a concussion from Tina Franklin at the last WCCF show.
DPW TITLE MATCH: Joe “Danger” Smith vs Corey O’Brian
Smith and O’Brian locked up, Smith getting the upper hand and shoving O’Brian down, getting a mount and raining down elbows, Corey eventually catching one and rolling into a jujigatame, but Smith got the ropes. Before O’Brian could get back to his feet Smith hit him with a shoulder tackle and got on top again, grinding his elbow on O’Brian’s injured neck before elbowing it again. This time Corey rolled into a guard and got a guillotine choke before Smith again got to the ropes. Corey got to his feet this time favoring his neck and Smith would deliver a kitchen sink to work the abdomen again as he would now apply a seated Cobra Twist. Corey struggled in the hold but managed to slip out of it and get into a small package rollup for a one count.
Smith would grab Corey by his EARS and knee him in the face, scooping him up and hitting the “Goalpost Tombstone” for a two count, then followed up with a “Facemask STF” (Regal Stretch), but Corey managed to get to the ropes. Corey would get hoisted up by Smith and tossed over the ropes landing on his neck. Smith rolled out of the ring and threw Corey into the steps and back into the ring, climbing to the top rope and going for a flying leg drop, Corey rolling out of the way! He hit the Penalty Kick on Smith, one, two kickout. He picked up Smith for a Core Meltdown but Smith would counter with a manhattan drop, then a flying headscissors! Corey would stumble to his feet, and here comes the Blitz... Corey rolled out of the way and Smith hit the turnbuckle! Corey would put Smith in a full nelson.... DRAGON SUPLEX! One, two, three!
AM: THE DRAGON SUPLEX! Corey using one of those million moves of his to get the pinfall.
XS: Corey rarely resorts to that move, and has one of the best dragon suplex bridges in the world. It’s no small feat to kick out of it and Smith has nothing to be ashamed of, as he was able to fight this match very cleanly.
AM: Um, you may have spoken to soon Xander... he’s got a sledgehammer... and he smashes it into Corey’s ribcage... oh no...
Smith stands on Corey’s back and holds the sledgehammer to Corey’s neck like he was teeing off with a golf club.... then for the third time tonight, “When Skin Turns Blue” hits.
OR: IMMUNITY OR NOT, THAT IS AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, AND IF YOU DO IT SMITH I SWEAR TO GOD YOU’RE GOING TO JAIL!
Smith throws the sledgehammer down.
OR: I’m sick and tired of this shit, Smith. You just got this BS immunity and already you’ve been taking it too far. So here’s the sum total, Smith. You put your immunity on the line... I’ll put ownership of this company on the line... and we have ourselves a cage match. And I’m going to add a special match to the DPW-J TV show, the first all-male match in that company’s history: A battle royale, the last two men will face the Satanic Legion for the tag team titles. And to make it interesting, ANYONE who has competed in a Florida promotion in the past year is eligable to participate.
XS: Well there you have it folks, check your local listings for the DPW-J TV taping, as we’ll find out who will face the Satanic Legion to see if ANYONE can stop those two....
AM: Xander, you’re grinning, you’re going to enter that match.
XS: I won’t lie to you Angus... good night everyone!
