DPW RUBRICON RESULTS!
Live from the BankAtlantic Center.
The show started with footage from earlier this week, Xander Starr, Mike Blood, and Robert Gemini heading to a house in Hialeah, Florida. Xander looks to the camera.
XS: "This is Corey's house, I've got the spare key. I've been trying to get in touch with him for weeks... we've been worried about him so we came to make sure he's alright."
Xander would open the door and the three of them would head inside.
XS: "Corey? You there man?"
Corey would emerge from a room, looking less than thrilled.
Corey: "What the hell are you three doing here?"
XS: "Look, Corey. We know you're upset about what happened. And we know you want payback. I know you want him now but you need to wait for it. Until then... we got your back. You won't have to face the Power Play alone."
Corey: "Yes, I do."
XS: "No, you don't."
Corey: "How do I know HE..." (pointing at Gemini) "Isn't still friends with Koger. Or if he..." (Pointing to Blood) "...is jealous that I managed to beat Monster Takeshi when he couldn't. And most importantly of all, Xander... how do I know that you weren't in on all of this?"
Xander is at a loss for words.
Corey: "I don't. And that's why I am not letting anyone have my back... because I can't trust anyone, especially you three, not to stab it. Get out of my house."
Xander: "Corey..."
Corey: "OUT."
Xander and the others leave as we go to the live action.
Match One: DPW Dojo Match: Stardust vs Marcy Summers
Stardust would be going up against a new member of the Dojo, a 6'11'' 270 pound monster of a woman called Marcy Summers. Stardust would throw some strikes on Marcy, but she would answer back with headbutts and a brutal array of power moves, finishing him off with a crucifix bomb, then picked up Stardust's legs and gave a vicious stomp in an uncomfortable place! Referee Matt Weston called for the bell, but even though Marcy lost the match she was obviously the dominant fighter.
Stardust X [8:01- "Ball Buster" DQ] Marcy Summers O
After the match, "The Times Are A-Changin'" by Bob Dylan played as the Power Play, led by Steven O'Brian, would hit the ring.
Steven: "We all know the real reason my cousin isn't here tonight... is because he's afraid of me. Afraid of us. Afraid to face the fact that he is nothing but a selfish, egotistical HAS-BEEN. And tonight we are going to prove that we, the Power Play, are the true force in DPW. Without the so-called white knight, DPW is NOTHING, and there is nothing they can do to stop us. And after tonight..."
"My Hatred" by Six Feet Under would hit as October Raven stepped out.
OR: "Blah blah blah, all your base are belong to us... heard it all before, Steven. But you know what... I bet that you four assholes all get your asses kicked tonight. In fact... let's make a bet, shall we? Make these matches I set for you guys a little more interesting. If Koger and Smith win in the next match... they get a shot at the tag team titles. If Michael Norcia wins, he gets to book his next opponent. And if YOU win, Steven... you get a shot at the world heavyweight title. BUT! If ALL FOUR of you lose... if the Power Play goes 0-3... Koger, Smith, Norcia... you're all suspended for a year... and Steven will join you, AFTER he faces Corey O'Brian... in a steel cage. Good luck, Power Play... you'll need it."
Steven: "Hey, fine by me. Koger and Smith will crush those punks, Norcia will knock out the big man, and I ain't afraid of no Ghost. In fact, you know who you gonna call OR? Me... as the future DPW champion."
MATCH TWO: Power Play vs Mike Blood and Robert Gemini
Koger was reluctant to face Robert Gemini, and Smith would be left to face Gemini by himself for most of the match. Gemini would be in control for most of it, including putting Smith on his shoulders for Mike Blood to hit a Doomsday Elbow, but Smith would get an advantage over him and Koger would try to take control, but Gemini get a diving tag to Blood, who was a house of fire! The Power Play would come back with double teaming Blood on the floor, and Smith would get in the ring with Blood, throwing him to the ropes for a Blitz, but Gemini got the blind tag, and Smith walked right into a setup for the Falling Star (BT Bomb) for the three count!
Chris Koger/Joe "Danger" Smith X [28:50- "Falling Star"] Mike Blood/Robert Gemini O
MATCH THREE: The Nightmares vs Team Handsome Tokyo
The oldest team in DPW were in full swing at first, but Yoshiro Tenmaku would get cut open by the strikes of the devious Shinokumo and Daisatsu and Jintaro would give his all but wasn't able to get a successful J-Germany or J-STF off. In the end Daisatsu would force Jintaro to submit to a neck hang to end the match.
Raiku Daisatsu O/Shinokumo [28:50- Neck Hang] Yoshiro Tenmaku/Jintaro Mazaki X
MATCH FOUR: Micheal Norcia vs Monster Takeshi
We saw the old Monster in this match, Norcia getting little offense at first, until a missed Knockout Lariat allowed Norcia to take him down and rain blows on the former champion. Takeshi would recover and hit a Tokyo Tower Bomb, but everyone was SHOCKED when Norcia kicked out! Norcia would try a Hand of God but Takeshi ducked it, hit a Knockout Lariat, and another Tokyo Tower Bomb for the three count.
Micheal Norcia X [16:56- Tokyo Tower Bomb] Monster Takeshi O
MATCH FIVE: Frank Desmond vs Jin Haisha
Desmond didn't want to look bad on the same show his girlfriend was getting a title shot on, and Haisha seemed a little too confident after beating Monster Takeshi. Desmond kept the match on the ground working Jin's leg, and when Jin went for a superkick he hesitated long enough for Desmond to duck it and hit a Chokeslam for the win.
Frank Desmond O [11:40- Chokeslam] Jin Haisha X
MATCH SIX: Steven O'Brian vs Ghost
This match was INTENSE, with Steven not wanting to face his cousin anytime soon and Ghost was at all cylinders. Ghost would control most of the match but as it progressed Steven managed to get the momentum his way. Ghost would try a Shooting Star Press, but Steven got the knees up. He would go for a backdrop for a two count, and Ghost would answer with "Buried Alive" (Complete Shot), but Steven got his foot on the ropes. Ghost would pick Steven up but Steven would grab him by the throat for a balatant choke! He broke it at four, then hit Ghost with a sick backdrop for the three count.
Steven O'Brian O [25:32- Backdrop] Ghost X
MATCH SEVEN: DPW Tag Team Title: Masashi Togashi and Hotaka Tokudo vs Geek Squad (c)
The brutal strong style veterans were in full force, but Xander and McCloud are on a roll, making this a back and forth bout with lots of close calls. Tokudo would throw Xander Starr OVER THE ROPES TO THE FLOOR at one point, while Sam S McCloud got a two count with an Instant Hell Murder (53 Sai) on Togashi. Tokudo tried a Bohi (tombstone) but Xander countered into one of his own for a two count. Togashi and Tokudo would unload on the champs, and Tokudo would hit a Bohi for a nearfall on Xander. Tokudo would try to irish whip Xander, but would get countered and Xander got a Momoe*Clutch for a surprising three count!
Masahi Togashi/Hotaka Tokudo X [38:45- Momoe*Clutch] Xander Starr O/Sam S McCloud
MAIN EVENT: DPW Title Match: REIKA vs Chris DaMico (c)
DaMico and REIKA put on one hell of a main event, this match going a mile a minuite, REIKA missing a REIKA DiveBomb (45o) and ending up on the floor allowing DaMico to hit her with a springboard dropkick to the outside! They went back in the ring and DaMico would lock in La Rosa Del Enterio (Mexican Stretch) but REIKA managed to get her leg on the rope! REIKA tried a Northern Lights Suplex hold, but DaMico hit his DaMico DDT to counter, then put REIKA in a NOSAWA Clutch for a three count.
REIKA X [16:38- NOSAWA Clutch] Chris DaMico O
"Times Are A-Changin'" would be heard again as Steven would come out, sarcastically clapping.
Steven: "Well, well, well. The king of flukes does it again. You know, DaMico... I can't wait to beat you, but I don't want to be cheated out by one of your little flash pins... so to make sure that doesn't happen... let's make it... best of three falls."
DaMico: "You know Socks...."
Steven: "STEVEN!"
DaMico: "Whatever, Socks... I like how you seem to think I win just by luck. In other words, when I beat your boy Joe "Danger" Smith to win the Demolition Derby, that was 'just luck'.... when I became the first person in DPW history to pin Monster Takeshi... that was 'just luck'. When I beat Corey O'Brian for the title, that was 'just luck'. And last month when I nearly made Michael Norcia tap..."
Steven: "But you didn't!"
DaMico: "I would have if you and your buddies didn't break the hold for him... so you want me to prove I deserve this belt? Fine by me. I'll be more than happy to kick your ass... twice in one night."
"My Hatred" would play as OR came out.
OR: "Well... Steven, you want this... DaMico, you want this... and I know the fans would LOVE to see Steven lose twice in a row... so it's on. Next show, Steven O'Brian vs Chris DaMico, best of three falls. Also... Norcia, you put a hell of a fight against Takeshi, and I know you're a man who wants to prove himself... so I'm going to let you face Takeshi again... in a last man standing match. As for Koger and Smith well... only one of you is going to be wrestling at the next show. Good news is, I'm going to let you decide who gets the match. Bad news... it's against Corey O'Brian."
OR would leave as Steven O'Brian and Chris DaMico stared each other down to end the show.
DPW-J on PPV Results
Live from the BankAtlantic Center.
The show opened with "Pull Me Under" by Dream Theatre signaling the entrance of champion "Ruthless" Ruth Sampson as she took a mic.
RS: "Tonight, DPW Joshi is finally on pay per view. And tonight I defend my title against a woman who, like myself, is unbeaten in DPW-J. I'm talking of course about Yukiko Akate. Akate, you may have bullied an injured Bloody Mary, but tonight you face the person who INJURED Bloody Mary. And while I didn't intend on breaking her arm to win the title, I will do whatever it takes to keep it. I am the BEST women's wrestler in the world...." (meanwhile, Holly is somewhere laughing) "...and tonight, Yukiko... I will once again prove it...."
MATCH ONE: KOTSUBO vs Dangerous Midori
KOTSUBO is a newcomer from Japan, having made waves there by knocking people out with her vicious lariats. Dangerous Midori was ready for KOTSUBO's power, countering her upper body strength with pinpoint precision kicks and knees, before hitting her "Danger Zone" (Nothern Lights Bomb) to win the match.
KOTSUBO X [14:12- Danger Zone] Dangerous Midori
MATCH TWO: Bloody Mary, NEVADA, and Black Steel vs Lucy Gold, Violet Storm and Krystal Baker
The Fatal Femmes and Black Steel were in control for most of this match, though Lucy Gold got nearfalls with her "Golden Sword" (tornado chop) and "Golden Spike" (Brainbuster) on Black Steel. Everyone was distracted when Yukiko Akate appeared on the stage with a small altar, a skull, and a candle. However Bloody Mary would take advantage, hitting Krystal Baker with a Rhydeem Bomb for a sudden three count.
Bloody Mary O/NEVADA/Black Steel [21:28- Rhydeem Bomb] Lucy Gold/Violet Storm/Krystal Baker X
After the match, Yukiko held the skull over the candle, and Bloody Mary suddenly collapsed! Yukiko would then smash the skull on the altar as NEVADA picked Mary up.... and Mary suddenly sprung to life, hoisting NEVADA onto her shoulders and hitting her with Go 2 Hell! Mary would then start following Yukiko to the back, while everyone was confused as to what just happened.
MATCH THREE: Sally Twister vs Crazy Red vs Anne R Kay
Three of the best babyfaces from New Jersey competing, and they gave a high-paced competitve contest. The veteran Crazy Red cut it down to two by eliminating Sally Twister with a Code Red in 18:10, and tried the same with Anne but Anne got to the ropes. Anne hit a DDT for a two count, then hit her "Calamity" (Modified Olympic Slam) but Red nosold it, hit the Red Shift (British Fall) and the Redline (Lariat) for the pinfall.
Crazy Red O [21:32- "Redline"] Anne R Kay X
MATCH FOUR: Gutter vs Karen Matthews
Gutter was looking over her shoulder on her way to the ring, but once the bell rang Gutter was all business, taking control of the match from the start. Before Karen could even get some sustained offense, Gutter hit her with a SICK "Gutter Cleaner" (Running Jumping DDT) that SPIKED Karen on her head for the win in just over nine minuites. Gutter would then waste no time going to the back and out of the arena, fans confused as to why Gutter seemed nervous.
Gutter O [9:31- Gutter Cleaner CRITICAL!] Karen Matthews X
MATCH FIVE: DPW-J Tag Team Titles: Kazama Sisters vs Sweet Dreams (c)
The Kazamas started off dominant, doing what they do best... thai clinch knees and submissions to wear out opponents. PJ and Candi however managed to throw them off with their contrasting styles, PJ's ground game mixed up with Candi's lucharesu, and the finish came with a surprised as Candi put Sakura Kazama in a half crab to force the submission, after enduring Saya's vicious "Saya Special Armbar" (AT Lock) and Sakura's wakigatame.
Sakura Kazama X/Saya Kazama [36:55- Half Crab] Patricia Jackson/Candi Ramirez O
MAIN EVENT: DPW-J Title: Yukiko Akate vs "Ruthless" Ruth Sampson (c)
Yukiko would be accompanied by Bloody Mary, who removed Yukiko's robe and carried Yukiko's ceremonial candle during the match. While Ruthless was in full form, nearly getting a win early on with "Ruthless Aggression" (crossface), he fiendish Akate would give the champ a definate run for her money, hitting a sick Chaos Lariat for a nearfall and would 'accidentally' knock over the referee then get a chair from the floor to deck the Ruthless One with it. As the referee came to, Akate would set Ruth up for her "Chaos Spiral" (Modified Verdict) but Ruth managed to counter with a DDT! Ruth would then apply her "Modern R't" (Sol Naciente) finisher, forcing Yukiko to submit like all others who get trapped in that signature hold!
Yukiko Akate X [20:14- Mordern R't] Ruth Sampson O
Bloody Mary would then hit the ring, grabbing Ruth and putting her in the "Die For Me!" (standing arm triangle) as Yukiko took the mic.
YA: "Behold the power of kaosu.... this fiend without a soul, the one you all call Bloody Mary... is now mine. It will obey me and only me from now on... Ruth Sampson... you have the honor of being the first to feel the wrath of kaosu... but you, like NEVADA, are unworthy to join Bloody Mary in service to me. But it alone will not suffice. I will need another... but whom...."
Ruth would black out in Mary's grip, and Mary would release Ruth, only to have Yukiko pick up the champ and hit her with the Chaos Spiral to end the show.

DPW Massacre in Boston
DPW MASSACRE IN BOSTON
Live from the TD Banknorth Center in Boston Mass
The show started with "Black Curtains" by Megadeth playing, Smith and Koger coming out with Norcia, Smith carrying a bokken.
JDS: Tonight, the Power Play will take over DPW. Tonight we will show what happens when you stand in our way of dominating this company. Me and Koger will be facing your white knight Corey O'Brian, and his leech of a cousin Socks. And when we pin Corey... and we WILL pin Corey... we get to punish him by giving him ten strikes with this... a solid oak wooden sword. Not only will it leave him with bruises... it will scar him for life by being humiliated in front of the world. And that's not all that will happen. Tonight, Norcia will do what myself and Koger have failed to do. And that is take the DPW World Heavyweight Championship. DaMico, it was only a matter of time before the world realized that your little dragon screw is no match for our sheer brutality. You will be struck down in front of every one of these fans... and when DPW comes back to Fort Lauderdale... they will have to suffer the truth that DPW is going to DIE! By our hands.
DPW-J TAG TITLE MATCH: Sweet Dreams (Patricia "PJ" Jackson and "Sweet" Candi Ramirez) vs Gutter and Cynthia San-Martino(c)
Gutter and Cynthia were already at each others throats, as they came out to "Kids in America" by The Muffs and seemed to think the other chose the theme (Angus MacDudley would admit he did it as a practical joke). This allowed PJ and Candi to easily take advantage of them, using frequent tags and their contrasting styles to force Cynthia to tag to Gutter with a slap, who responded by punching Cynthia in the face! Gutter and Cynthia started fighting each other, literally this time, and PJ almost got Gutter with a rollup. Gutter took more offense from PJ, but Gutter would reverse a sleeper hold by backing PJ into the corner. Cynthia would blind tag Gutter in, causing Gutter to snap and attack Cynthia again, this time the two of them fighting outside the ring. Eventually DPW-J referee Sakura-chan reached the 20 count and the titles changed hands!
Patricia Jackson O/Candi Ramirez [7:51- Countout] Gutter/Cynthia San-Martino X
Guest Match: "Over 9000" Vic Marino vs KIRA
Vic Marino is a rising indy name, and KIRA is a member of the DPW Dojo. Marino gained an early advantage by keeping the larger man on the mat with submissions, but the powerhouse recovered and delivered several pounding strikes and slams. KIRA would hit an early "Apple Driver" (Blue Thunder), but Marino would kick out. After making a comeback he hit his "Blame Canada!" (Yokosuka Cutter) finisher for a two count. KIRA would try to answer with a "Sheer Heart Attack" (Complete Dust) finisher but Marino floated over and got him with a "Vic Roll" (Victory Roll) for the three count.
Vic Marino O [14:03- "Vic Roll"] KIRA X
Thomas Clarke and EURO*STAR (Amazing Jean-Paul and Tony Pescarelli) vs The Nightmares (Shinokumo, "Halloween" Edward Jones, and Raiku Daisatsu)
Clarke was defeated by a miscommunication at Hand of God thanks to Shinokumo's mist, so DPW had it's first-ever six-man tag team match so Clarke can try to get some vindication. Clarke's technical prowess, Jean-Paul's agility, and Tony's combination of the two gave the powerful Nightmares a run for their money. Thomas Clarke nearly got the win over Shinokumo with a flying headbutt(!) and a "London Bomber" (Axe Bomber) but the Nightmares broke up both pins. Shinokumo blinded Clarke with the mist allowing Jones to hit an "Elm Street Slam" (Side Slam) and Shinokumo followed up with a moonsault to get the three count.
Clarke X/AJP/Pescarelli [34:48- Moonsault] Shinokumo O/Jones/Raiku
"Indyriffic" Steve Evans vs Ghost
Ghost is a terrifying presence and a deadly force in the ring, but nobody told that to Steve Evans who came out swinging, nailing a high impact Olympic Slam and a "Kevin Bacon Driver" (Michunoku Driver II-B) only seven minuites into the match but came out short. As the match went on, Ghost made the momentum shift in his favor, and after some outside brawls, a "Kevin Bacon Driver" traded for a "Buried Alive" (Complete Shot) for nearfalls, Ghost finally got his "Sleep Forever" (Seated sleeper) to submit Evans.
Steve Evans X [23:22- "Sleep Forever"] Ghost O
Jin Haisha vs Monster Takeshi
We saw the old Monster Takeshi early on, STEAMROLLING Haisha with a Knockout Lariat and a Falcon Arrow Driver just four minuites into the bout, and tried for the "Tokyo Tower Bomb" (Last Ride) but Haisha back tossed out of it! Haisha used a healthy diet of chops and elbows, even slamming Takeshi a couple times, but when he went for a piledriver he got backtossed. Takeshi did an even more shocking thing, hitting a flying elbow off the top rope! Takeshi tried another Knockout Lariat, but Haisha got a SCHOOOOL BOAY! and got the three count for Haisha's most SHOCKING upset yet!
Jin Haisha O [26:07- School Boy] Monster Takeshi X
The O'Brians (Corey and Socks) vs Power Play (Chris Koger and Joe "Danger" Smith, w/ Micheal Norcia) Loser takes ten strikes to the back with a bokken
Corey was overagressive as we have seen him since the Power Play was formed, hammering Koger and Smith for five minuites straight before tagging in Socks to give him a chance to punish the power play. Smith would thumb the eye while Koger distracted senior official Matt Weston and the devious duo constantly double teamed Socks, Norcia using the referee's distraction to ambush O'Brian and smash his face into the apron several times before backing off to avoid being caught. Smith would hit Socks with a Blitz (Running Spear) and then literally LAUNCHED Socks' carcass to Corey's corner, and Corey had no choice but to tag in for his cousin's sake! Corey fought back hard, hitting Smith with a Shotei and a brainbuster, Smith avoiding a lariat to barely tag out to Koger. Koger found himself on the losing end too, Smith tagging him as he got nailed with a German! Smith got some shots on O'Brian, and went for his "Goalpost Tombstone" (Ganso TTD) but Corey floated over for the "Core Meltdown II" (Psycho Driver)! Koger tried to pre-emptively stop the pin, but Corey gave him a "Core Meltdown" (Ganso Bomb) for his trouble! He went for the pin, but...
SOCKS BROKE IT UP!
Corey stood up and looked at his cousin in shock, and Socks kicked him in the midsection, went behind him, and nailed a vicious backdrop! Smith would get his arm over Corey, and the three count would be made!
Corey X/Socks [14:10- Backdrop] Koger/Smith O
Socks got on the microphone as Koger and Norcia held Corey up while Smith administered the caning with the Bokken.
Socks: I said if there was a traitor in DPW, that it would be someone who absolutely hates you. And nobody... not even these three... hate you as much as I do. When we competed for the DPW Tag Team titles, that was about YOU, not us. All you cared about was getting your first tag team title. And when YOU lost the title, you went right for Monster Takeshi. And what happened to me? I was put back in the midcard! You did NOTHING to get me the exposure I deserved. I busted my ass harder than you or anyone else, but no matter what I did, I was just Corey's cousin. NO MORE! I am TIRED of living under your shadow. When I am done with you, YOU will be known... as STEVEN O'Brian's cousin.
October Raven would come out now.
OR: Socks... you... you disgust me. Of all the things that have been done in this company, this has to be the newest low yet. The only reason I won't fire you is because while YOU may think Corey is just looking out for himself, everyone else in the back knows he does everything he can to give back to the industry. So I am not going to fire you because having to face all those people that you are insulting, by turning against everything we stand for in DPW... that is a far worse punishment. But! Don't expect ANY of you to get paid tonight. ALL of you are going to be fined what you WOULD have made tonight. And I am BANNING the Power Play from ringside during the title match.
DPW Tag Team Title Match: Eric Gacy and Stan Vasic vs Geek Squad(c)(Xander Starr and Sam S McCloud)
Many thought the unlikely duo of Eric Gacy and Stan Vasic would destroy the Geek Squad, and it did seem to be in the cards for a lot of this match. Gacy and Vasic lacked one thing the Geek Squad did, and that was teamwork. It was a back and forth battle but after surviving THREE spinning brainbusters from Stan Vasic Sam would catch him with "Apeture Science" (Code Red) for the win!
Gacy/Vasic X [20:30- "Apeture Science"] Starr/McCloud O
DPW World Title Match: "Hand of God" Micheal Norcia vs "King of Roses" Chris DaMico(c)
Norcia came out strong against DaMico, and while the veteran brawler built up momentum Chris' counters and nearfalls managed to take that momentum right back. Norcia for example would oounter DaMico's "Twelve Seconds Magic" submission with multiple Rampage slams, but one too many as DaMico countered with a release rana! Norcia hit a brainbuster and signaled for the "Hand of God" knockout punch but DaMico would grab his leg and get a dragon screw! Norcia was clutching his leg as DaMico used the surprise to lock in "La Rosa Del Entiero" (Mexican Stretch) and the Power Play would hit the ring to break it up! Steven O'Brian would hit DaMico with the title belt, and Norcia would pick DaMico up and BLAST him with the "Hand of God", knocking him out cold! Smith had the bokken and looked to beat DaMico with it like he did to Corey, but Jin Haisha, Steve Evans , and Xander Starr came out to try to stop this! EURO*STAR and Thomas Clarke would come out too, but when the Power Play started to retreat, they were stopped... by MONSTER TAKESHI! Finally, before all hell broke loose, October Raven came out.
OR: You see what you get, Steven? We're not all selfish little punks like you. And as much as Chris DaMico would love to get his hands on any of you, I'm not going to reward this attack with a title shot. So for our next DPW show, The Punishment Due, Chris DaMico will face someone who has had a shot coming for a while now... REIKA! Smith, Koger... you two will face off against ... Mike Blood and a man who beat you Koger recently... Robert Gemini. Steven, you want to be treated like a big name, well I'll do that. You will face ... Ghost. And Norcia, you will face.... Monster Takeshi. And if ANY of you interfere with ANY matches, or do any other attacks... before this match I just got off the phone with the Florida State Athletic commission. If you pull any of that shit at The Punishment Due... all FOUR of you will receive a lifetime ban from wrestling in Florida, PERIOD. And! Since Florida directly governs DPW, that ban will also apply to DPW events outside of Florida too. But any other fed you guys wrestle in, I got connections, I'll send guys to make sure your career will not be a pleasant one.

Hand of God Results!
DPW Hand Of God
Live from the Bank Antlantic Center
DPW-J Tag Title Partner Match: Violet Storm vs Gutter (c)
Angus MacDudley: Angus MacDudley here, and let me explain for those who don’t know the details of this match. If Violet Storm wins, she and Gutter will be tag team champions together, wether Gutter likes it or not. If Gutter wins, she keeps both title belts. Violet Storm is the first female graduate of the DPW Dojo, so this should be a good one.
Violet Storm came out with some kicks, but Gutter caught one and took her down for some punches, causing the DPW-J referee Sakura-chan to break it up. Violet Storm headed to the ropes and hit a crossbody for a one count, and Gutter would answer with a headbutt and a pair of elbow smashes.Gutter slammed Violet Storm down and went for a big knee drop but Violet Storm rolled out of the way! Violet began working on the leg of Gutter, then started on her lower back for a bit. Gutter managed to recover though, getting to a knee and headbutting Violet in the midsection, standing up and headbutting Violet in the face knocking her down before hitting the Headbutt Drop to the midsection. Cover for a two count.
Angus: Gutter not doing anything fancy here, she has no formal training except for a few boxing classes.
Gutter picked up Violet Storm and slammed her back down, going to the top for a Mad Splash, but Violet Storm got the knees up! She stood up and delivered the Sharpshooter, Gutter refusing to submit and making it to the ropes. Violet picked her up and threw her into the ropes, going for her signature Shotei, but Gutter ducked and rolled up Violet Storm! One, two, three!
Angus: That wasn’t a pretty rollup but it got the job done. And coming up next is the other DPW-J title match. “Cowgirl” Jane Porter facing off against Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary has been one of the most successful DPW-J champions ever as of late, and lets see if she can retain once more.
DPW-J Title Match: “Cowgirl” Jane Porter vs Bloody Mary (c)
Cowgirl and Mary started a BRUTAL chopfest to start out, Cowgirl managing to kick Bloody Mary in the midsection and club her with an axehandle smash. Cowgirl hitting a backbreaker next for a one count. Cowgirl picked up Bloody Mary for a hiptoss but Mary blocked it and punched Cowgirl in the face, tripping up Cowgirl and applying a headlock. Lifting herself to a vertical base, she shot Bloody Mary off but Mary hit a big forearm and following up with a kneedrop to the midsection. Cover for a two count. Cowgirl got to her feet and delivered some brutal elbows and then delivered a suplex. Adjusting her elbow pad she prepared to hit her “Texas Lariat” but Bloody Mary ducked... “DIE FOR ME!” (Standing Shoulderlock). Porter struggled for the ropes but couldn’t make it, so she had to use her power to elbow out of it. She kneed Bloody Mary in the stomach and set up for a powerbomb... NAILED IT! One, two, kickout. Cowgirl slammed Bloody Mary down again and went to the top rope... but Bloody Mary recovered and shoved the rope! Cowgirl lost her balance and ended up seated on the top rope... Bloody Mary puts Cowgirl on her shoulders and heads closer to the center of the ring... Go 2 Hell! One, two, three!
Angus: What a VICIOUS Go 2 Hell! Coming up next is a special guest bout, indy wrestler and powerhouse Lonestar facing DPW Dojo member and high-flying prodigy Teenage Ninja, who we assure you is neither a mutant nor a turtle.
Special Guest Match: Lonestar vs Teenage Ninja
Lonestar tries to lock up with Ninja, who wisely has nothing to do with it, keeping distance with kicks. Lonestar does back Ninja into a corner, takes a swing at Ninja who rolls under and dropkicks Lonestar in the back then rolls him up for a one count. Lonestar gets up and again tries to lock up with Teenage Ninja who again rolls behind Lonestar and once the big man turns around he eats a kneelick to the face! The Ninja then hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Teenage Ninja then heads to the ropes... and EATS A HUGE LARIAT! Lonestar picks up Teenage Ninja and hits a scoopslam and a leg drop. Lonestar picks up the Ninja and delivers multiple elbows and chops, then a series of chops in the corner! Teenage Ninja ducked a big right hand and kicked at Lonestar’s leg, stepping away and hitting a Koppou Kick! Teenage Ninja would head to the ropes then and hit a nice springboard moonsault for a two count. Teenage Ninja then signaled for the finish and whipped Lonestar and goes for the “Lustering Sorceror” (Flying Knee to a running opponent) but GOT BLASTED IN MIDAIR WITH A BIG BOOT! Lonestar picked up Teenage Ninja and delivered a BRUTAL powerbomb. Lateral press, one, two, three!
Angus MacDudley: A great effort by Teenage Ninja but Lonestar’s boot lead to a flattening powerbomb, and no way could he kick out of it. Now Robert Gemini is coming out... and the lights have been dimmed...
“Dead Skin Mask” by Slayer hits
Angus: And that’s the entrance music Ghost used in Pro Wrestling VICTORY. Ghost was famous for being a recluse. Nobody knows ANYTHING about him, he rarely talks to other wrestlers...
When the chorus is reached, the lights go to normal, and a man with white hair, pale corpse-like makeup, and wearing dark ragged clothes is standing across Robert Gemini
Angus: That’s him! Don’t let the attire and corpse paint fool you, Ghost makes no illusions of being undead or anything like that... from what little he has said in public he wears that outfit to intimidate his opponents.
Robert Gemini vs Ghost
Ghost starts out with a running knee strike and a series of elbows, snapmaring Gemini and applying a chinlock. Gemini gets to his feet and throws Ghost off, but Ghost hits a flying shoulder tackle! Ghost would deliver two arm drags and delivering a flip senton. Ghost followed up with a snap suplex for a two count. Robert Gemini would chop Ghost and throw him to the ropes for a kitchen sink, then he would start to work on the leg of Ghost... who would crossface out of it. Ghost would do a backdrop, and then try to apply a seated sleeper.
Angus: He calls this “Sleep Forever”...
Gemini would manage to make it to the ropes. Ghost would set up for a big slam, but Gemini floated over! Ghost turned around took a kick to the gut... and Gemini set him up for the “Fallen Star” (Black Tiger Bomb) but Ghost would slip out as well... Gemini turned around... “Buried Alive” (Complete Shot)! He pulled Gemini into position, then climbed to the top rope... Shooting Star Press! One, two, three!
Angus: Robert Gemini was just outclassed here. No rust with the veteran Ghost. You have to give Gemini credit for trying to capitalize on an opening though. That killer instinct will take him places in the future. Coming up next though is a tag team match... one of DPW’s oldest combinations, Anarchy in the UK, taking on members of the still-intact Nightmares, Shinokumo and Raiku Daisatsu.
Anarchy in the UK vs Shinokumo and Raiku Daisatsu
Thomas Clarke and Raiku Daisatsu start out, Raiku throwing Thomas into the ropes and hitting a big shoulder tackle for a one count. Raiku would picks up Thomas and elbows Thomas. Thomas gets a fireman’s carry and a headlock, Raiku getting to his feet... shooting Thomas off, blind tag to Kevin Williams, jumping over the ropes. Raiku throws Thomas with a hiptoss but Raiku turns around and eats a dropkick! Shinokumo tags in, lariat to Williams followed up with a DDT. Williams reversed an Irish Whip but hits a drop toe hold, tagging Clarke back in. Clarke applied a half crab and Kevin Williams added an “Anarchy Stomp” (running stomp to the head) for good measure! Raiku broke it up and grabbed Kevin Williams and chucked him CLEAN OVER THE ROPES! Kevin seemed OUT and Shinokumo and Raiku would double team Thomas, pounding him with stomps, then hitting a double backdrop! Shinokumo put Thomas in the “Blood Web Driver” (FFF), then passed him off to Raiku for the “Satanic Offering” (Tiger Driver 91)... but Williams gets back in the ring to save! Clubbing Raiku, then hitting the “Anarchy Slam” (Rock Bottom) on Shinokumo. Referee Matt Weston ordering Kevin Williams and Raiku Daisatsu to their corners, Thomas making the tag... and THERE IT IS! Kevin would get on top to set up for the “Revolutionizer” (Twisting Senton), but Raiku yanked on the rope! Kevin elbowed Raiku off the apron and signaling for another Anarchy Slam...MIST BY SHINOKUMO! Thomas Clarke with a blind tag, entering the ring... Kevin in his blindness doesn’t realize it, grabs Thomas and hits him with a SICK Snap Fisherman’s DDT! Shinokumo hits Kevin with a Blood Web Driver and then pins Clarke, one, two, THREE!
Angus: Shinokumo’s mist causing a miscommunication, and the Nightmares pick up the win! Up next though is a match between former tag champions EURO*STAR against the Geek Squad!
DPW Tag Team Title Match: EURO*STAR vs Geek Squad (c)
Amazing Jean-Paul and Sam S. McCloud started this one out, locking up and Sam getting the advantage until Jean-Paul gets an arm drag, then a hiptoss and a drop toe hold. Jean-Paul tags to Tony Pescarelli, Tony applying a headlock and working it until Sam got to a vertical base, then an “E Honda Special” (flying shoulder tackle). Tag to Xander, who leaped over the top rope and hit an elbow drop. Xander rolled backwards to his feet, Tony hitting an elbow smash and a snapmare into a headscissors. Xander would get a handstand and free himself, dropkicking Tony in the face! Tag to Sam, who hit a flying headbutt and went for the “Triforce Lock” (Triangle Lock) but Tony got to the ropes. Tony would get Sam and powerbomb him for a two count. Another powerbomb attempt... floatover... Sam goes to the ropes... “TIGER KNEE!” (Flying knee). But no cover! Both of them manage to tag and AJP and Xander Starr face off! Xander tries to SWEEP THE LEG JOHNNY but AJP jumps over the legsweep. AJP tries one of his own but Xander BACKFLIPS over and then hits a basement dropkick to the face of AJP! Xander goes to the top for the 810 Splash, but Jean-Paul gets the knees! Jean-Paul gets up and gets a running start... leaping and catching Xander’s head and flipping over his body for a standing Shiranui! “C’est Magnifique!”Cover, two, Sam breaks it! Sam picks Jean up and Xander joins him... “FLASH DRIVE” (Double Ore Ga Taue)! Sam cuts of Tony Pescarelli with a “Hundred Hand Slap” (Tsuappari). Xander pins AJP, one, two, three!
Angus: That was an excellent way to end this bout. Coming up next is a bout between two bitter rivals... Corey O'Brian and a man new to DPW, "Hand of God" Micheal Norcia. Norcia is a former world champion in both wrestling and MMA. The first time these two met in the ring, Norcia gave Corey a concussion from a powerbomb. And in their second encounter, Norcia nearly broke Corey's leg. Another story is Corey O'Brian's reaction to Chris Koger aligning himself with Joe "Danger" Smith to form The Power Play. Let's roll some footage from earlier tonight.
The screen shows Corey O'Brian in the back doing stretches. October Raven approaches him.
OR: Corey... I know you're upset, but I want to talk to you...
Corey gets up and looks at the boss.
Corey: Upset? You think I'm... upset? Koger tried to end my career. Do you remember that he used PEPPER SPRAY on me? And not only did I accept him back into our locker room... I FORGAVE him for that. I thought he had learned his lesson... that he was truly sorry... but his feeling sorry was all just a bunch of bullshit. And that... is MUCH worse than trying to blind me. You know the saying "Fool me once, shame on you"? Well this time... it's "Fool me once, I crush you." I am going to do to Koger what he tried to do to me. Only difference is... I will get the job done.
Corey storms off
OR: ...And they say I'M intimidating...
Cut back to the live show
Angus: Well there you have it... Corey is out for blood, and quite frankly, who can blame him? I wonder though how he will use that aggression in this bout...
Corey O'Brian vs Michael Norcia
At the bell Corey IMMEDIATELY charged at Norcia, backing him up into a corner. Referee Matt Weston called for the break... Corey elbowed him HARD, and Norcia took a swing as well! The two exchanged blows back and forth, Corey again taking Norcia down and raining elbows, Norcia responding with punches.
Angus: This is looking more like a WCCF fight here...
Corey caught a punch and transitioned into a Jujigatame but Norcia managed to get it into a rollup, hammerfisting Corey until the hold was broken. Back to a vertical base Corey got a headlock in, Norcia trying to lift Corey but Corey lowers his center of gravity... Norcia manages to shoot him off, Norcia hitting a back body drop and a big knee drop before putting Corey in an armbar! Corey managed to clasp his hands and put his foot on the ropes to force a break, Norcia pulling Corey up and delivering a big suplex. Cover, two, Corey kicks out... AND APPLIES A KIMURA FROM THE BOTTOM! Norcia hammerfists Corey again and after a half-dozen shots manages to fight out of it. Norcia picks Corey up and goes for the big punch he calls the "Hand of God"... Corey ducked! EXPLODER! Cover, two, kickout!
Angus: That was CLOSE. That Hand of God is a vicious knockout blow, and that Exploder was right on the money as well.
Norcia took Corey down now, raining down punches... COREY GETS A TRIANGLE! Norcia goes to posture up for a slam... BAM! Right into the canvas! One, two, no! Norcia goes to pull Corey up in a backdrop position... but instead he hits a VICIOUS shin breaker, a la Saya Kazama! Figure four! Corey however was close enough to the ropes to turn over and grab them! Norcia picked Corey up by the hair this time... but Corey grabbed his leg! DRAGON SCREW! Corey wastes no time getting Norcia in position for a Core Meltdown...
Angus: This could be it....
Suddenly "Black Curtains" by Megadeth hits, and Chris Koger and Joe "Danger" Smith enter the ring and they axehandle Corey in the back! Matt Weston calls for the bell! No Contest! The two Power Play members start pounding on the stunned Corey... Norcia getting up... pointing to Koger, and heading his way... the duo wisely leaving the ring!
Angus: Norcia keeping them from doing too much damage...
Corey slowly gets to his feet... and Norcia FLOORS him with a "Hand of God" punch! Smith takes a mic.
Smith: You want to talk about putting us out of the business, Corey? Well that's a funny thing... because we are going to drive you out of DPW... but first, we need to take the DPW World Heavyweight Championship... and the man who will do it is the newest member of the Power Play... Micheal Norcia! That's right, WE are the ones who talked him into coming here in the first place!
The three start stomping on Corey but October Raven, Socks O'Brian, and The Geek Squad rush to the ring! The Power Play flee! Socks grabs Corey and carries him to the back.
October Raven: I would ask you why I shouldn't fire all three of you sons of bitches... but you know what? I'm not even going to bother. Cause I know that the man the three of you just ambushed will want to personally take care of you himself. Now Smith, since you're the leader of your little group you have the right to have Norcia as the number one contender like we agreed at Return to Dome... BUT! You and Koger... you two are facing Corey and Socks O'Brian at the next show. And to make it interesting, we'll add a special stipulation... the wrestler who gets pinned must take ten strikes to the back with a bokken!
Smith: That's fine by me, but just one thing... you call me the leader of Power Play? That's funny, because I never said I was, did I?
OR: Well if you're not leader, who is?
Smith: I'm not telling. But what I will tell you... is that he IS on the DPW roster.
Angus: Wait... did he just say... one of DPW's own is behind all this?
OR: ...You're not fooling anyone, Smith. DPW is a FAMILY. Now get the FUCK out of this arena before I have all three of you bastards arrested for assault! NOW! You're all BANNED from the building for the main event.
Angus: Well the boss has a point, nobody in DPW would ever sell out one of their own... but still, I have to wonder if it just is an empty bluff or not... but now it’s time for the main event!
DPW World Heavyweight Title: Jin Haisha vs Chris DaMico (c)
The two locked up and Jin managed to get a go-behind, Chris elbowing Haisha and getting a snapmare... a whiplash attempt countered into a sleeper by Jin! Chris got to his feet, snapmaring Jin Haisha again and getting a surfboard. Jin would get to his feet and turn it around on Chris, who countered with a kangaroo kick! Chris would pick up Jin and try to throw him into the ropes, but Jin reversed... Chris does a Tiger Flip off the apron, catching Jin’s neck for yet another snapmare into a chinlock! Jin would struggle to his feet again, throwing Chris off... ducking a lariat and hitting a Russian Legsweep! Cover, one, kickout. Jin would get a hiptoss and head to the top rope and hit a big kneedrop! He adjusted his elbow pad for a lariat, but Chris rolled under it, and when they faced each other Chris hit a one-legged dropkick! Cover, one, kickout. Chris would throw Jin into the ropes and get a drop toe hold, transitioning into an Onryo Clutch, one, two, kickout. Jin would block a suplex attempt and hit one of his own, following it up with a DDT. One, two, kickout at two. Jin set Chris up for a piledriver but Chris tripped him up, put Jin’s legs in a 4, then as Jin sits up Chris goes over and rolls him to his shoulders for a NOSAWA Clutch! One, two, no! Chris tried to go for an Emerald Frosion but Jin floated over, tried to set up for the “Calamari Buster” (Pump Handle Bomb) but DaMico hiptossed out of it. Jin got up and hit a BIG lariat. Cover, two, but DaMico kicks out. Jin then STOMPED HIS FEET.
Angus: Superkick time...
Jin went for a superkick... but DaMico caught the leg! DRAGON SCREW! Jin clutched his leg in pain and DaMico quickly put him in a Delphin Clutch! One, two, three!

Return of the Dome results
Live at the world-famous Tokyo Dome
The show starts with Angus MacDudley and Corey O’Brian in the ring, Angus speaking while Corey translates for the live crowd.
Angus: Tokyo, Japan... and everyone watching across the world... welcome to Demolition Pro Wrestling! DPW has brought the best of wrestling across the world together, and tonight we celebrate this in our long-awaited return to Japan. Our main event features our new DPW World Champion, Chris DaMico, who was trained in the lucha libre style of Mexico, competing under the name of “La Rey Del Rosa”, against Tokyo’s own Jintaro Mazaki. Also the man standing next to me, the heart and soul of DPW, Corey O’Brian faces off against a puroresu icon in Masashi Togashi, and in a rematch of our last show at the Tokyo Dome, Yoshiro Tenmaku faces off against Monster Takeshi, to settle the question of who would have won if not for the interference of one Chris Koger...
“God Send Death” by Slayer hits as Joe “Danger” Smith steps through the curtains with a mic.
JDS: Speaking of Koger... you forgot to mention that tonight I beat that punk into a bloody pulp. Now, last time I was in Japan... *points to Corey* I nearly broke him in half. It’s been five long years since then... and I don’t miss it one bit.
After Corey translates that last line, fans start to boo.
Angus MacDudley: You actually got something to say, Smith? And why aren’t your little Nightmare buddies with you?
JDS: As a matter of fact I do... and it has to do with just that. See, the Nightmares aren’t here in full force for two reasons... first being that Shinokumo, Edward Jones, and Raiku Daisatsu aren’t here... apparently DPW didn’t think to book all of their Japanese talent in a homecoming... but that doesn’t matter to me. See, in the cage match... what did they do to stop me from losing that match? NOTHING. They could have attacked OctoberRaven before the match, or broke into the cage... yeah, they’d get fired, they’d possibly even get arrested, but I would have won that match, won this company, and rehired them. Instead... they did nothing. They need to realize I wasn’t there to help them, they were there to help ME, to help me take this company over. Well I don’t need them anymore... so the Nightmares as far as I’m concerned... are broken up. And if any of them have a problem with that... they can face me in the ring and I’ll Blitz them in half. I’m done.
Smith heads to the back.
Angus MacDudley: ...Anyways, our first match is the DPW-J Title match... as many of you remember Bloody Mary managed to defeat Gutter for the belt, and Gutter has been on a tear trying to get a rematch. Well tonight she is getting a chance at it, but in a first-fall three-way match. The third competitor? An old enemy of Gutter’s, Crazy Red. Red and Gutter first met each other in Jersey All-Women’s Sports. Gutter defeated Carol Moon in her debut match, and JAWS’ then and current Queen of the Deathmatch, Robyn Rotten, ambushed Gutter. Crazy Red went to save the newcomer and help her to the back, but Gutter then BRUTALLY lashed out at Red, hitting her over the head seven times with a steel chair in an attack that caused scarring on Red’s head that still exists today... which is why Red wears a baseball cap everywhere. Rumor has it that Red and Gutter had an altercation at the Peter Venkman Memorial Arena, home of OG-Joshi, but neither of them have commented on this. And now, exposition finally aside, get ready for what is sure to be a heated contest.
DPW-J Title Match: Gutter vs Crazy Red vs Bloody Mary (c)
The three women went right at each other in a wild pile-up to start, Bloody Mary managing to gain the upper hand over Red and Gutter who cared more about beating on each other. Mary picked up Red and slammed her before doing a foot rake on Red. Gutter would hit Mary with an axehandle from behind and throw her over the ropes, dropping her head on Red’s sternum. Red would reverse an Irish Whip and dropkick Gutter, but Bloody Mary would follow up with a flying knee drop! Red would try to hit Bloody Mary with a roaring elbow but Bloody Mary ducked and hit a powerslam! Bloody Mary would lift Red up in a backdrop, and Gutter would follow suit, a double backdrop on Red before Gutter immediately went to Bloody Mary, elbowing her in the face repeatedly!
AM: Gutter isn’t looking to double team, that could turn out to be her undoing here.
Sure enough Red would grab Gutter and hit her with an Irish Whip, and the champ would nod to her and they hit a double dropkick on Gutter! And another! And a double suplex! Eventually though Red would try a quick rollup on Bloody Mary for a two count, Bloody Mary recovering and hitting a DDT! Bloody Mary now gouged at Red’s eyes until the ref stopped it.... and Gutter hit a jumping knee to the face of Bloody Mary! Gutter goes to the top rope... Mad Splash on Red! One, two, kickout. Bloody Mary would elbow Gutter in the face, SPINNING BACKFIST to floor Mary! Gutter would stalk Red to set up for the Gutter Cleaner, but Red scouted it,countering by using a drop toe hold! Gutter would then get pounded by a Redline (lariat)! Red made a belt pose, then turned around... RIGHT INTO BLOODY MARY’S ARMS! GO 2 HELL! One, two, three!
AM: And Bloody Mary manages to retain her title! Coming up next is Anarchy In The UK doing battle with Socks O’Brian and Steve Evans. Evans is a student of the older cousin of Socks, Corey O’Brian, and they have trained together at the DPW Dojo.
Anarchy in the UK vs Socks O’Brian and Steve Evans
Kevin and Steve started out this match, Kevin getting a headlock but Steve slipping out and throwing Kevin into the ropes for a dropkick, then MOONWALKED to Kevin for a 180 kneedrop to follow up. Evans would get a snapmare takeover and went to follow up with a dropkick to the face but Kevin rolled away and tagged out to Thomas Clarke! Thomas hit a running elbow smash on Steve then getting and arm drag into an armbar but Socks tagged the foot of Steve, cutting Thomas off before he could try to attack him with a shoulder tackle, but Socks fell on his backside too! Both men got to their feet at the same time, heading to the ropes, Socks went for another tackle but both men went down once more! Socks would try one more... ducking a London Bomber, and this time hitting a LEAPING shoulder tackle! He went for a Sock Hop but Steve got a blind tag while he went to the ropes, and was all “WTF” as Steve went to the top rope... Socks would have to hit the deck as Steve had his Slim Jim already in hand.... FLYING ELBOW WHILE BITING INTO THE SLIM JIM! One, two, Kevin broke it up! Tag to Kevin, dropkick to Steve and setting up for the Revolutionizer... MISSED! Steve would stalk for That Japanese Move, but Clarke entered the ring.... LONDON BOMBER! Socks would enter the ring , and they hit him with a Double Fisherman’s Suplex! Kevin would go for a springboard Revolutionizer! One, two, three!
AM: And the teamwork of Anarchy in the UK pays off. Coming up next is Eric Gacy vs Amazing Jean-Paul. Two former Tag Team champions, and Gacy... well, I guess now formerly of the Nightmares... getting his singles debut... and wait a second, the boss talking to Gacy, let’s go to the back...
IN THE BACK, October Raven is stopping Eric Gacy from continuing to ringside.
OR: Hey, Big Guy... okay put down the sickle I’m not here to pick a fight... alright, look, I know Smith just broke up your little group... and I don’t know how you feel about that... but as much as I hate Smith, we have rules here, so I don’t want you to go and try to run-in during his match, okay?
Gacy just stares at him.
OR: Okay? ::Gacy is still staring:: Okay! Good luck, and if you do good... I might be looking your way for a main event soon.
OR pats Gacy on the back, and Gacy goes to make his entrance. Xander Starr pops onto camera.
OR: Think he’ll jump Smith?
XS: I don’t think so... but man, that dude is effin creepy... doesn’t even BLINK.
“Dark Killer” Eric Gacy vs Amazing Jean-Paul
Jean-Paul starts off with a series of kicks on Gacy, ending with a Sobat but Gacy COMPLETELY IGNORES the big Sobat and hits AJP with a series of elbows and a shortarm lariat. He stomps on AJP’s face before picking him up by the singlet and TOSSING him over the ropes and nearly into the barricade! Gacy heads out the ring too, axehandle to the back followed by a whip to the barricade. Jean-Paul would try a spinkick but Gacy blocked it, and throwing him into the steps! AJP stands up... SPIKE THROUGH YOUR HEAD, the back of AJP’s skull hitting the ringpost!
AM: That was SICK. Any harder and he might have crushed Jean’s skull!
Gacy picks up the carcass of Jean-Paul and throws him back into the ring. He lifts him up for a shoulder breaker, then an elbow drop, before heading to the corner... AJP takes almost the full ten count to stand up... ANOTHER Spike Through Your Head! A Black Spiral Dance would follow up, then the academic three count.
AM: Gacy utterly destroyed Amazing Jean-Paul... the guy’s got freakish power to him... he may indeed be heading to a title shot down the line... and I wouldn’t want to be the lad to face him for the title. Coming up next, the rematch from the last Tokyo Dome Show, Yoshiro Tenmaku faces off against Monster Takeshi.
Yoshiro Tenmaku vs Monster Takeshi
Yoshiro tries to lock up with Takeshi who shoves him down. Yoshiro tries a dropkick to the knee but it seems to do little. Running to the ropes, another dropkick to the knee, and Takeshi’s leg gives out and he drops to one knee. Yoshiro heads to the ropes again... URAKEN BY MONSTER TAKESHI! Takeshi picks up Yoshiro and slams him into the mat, once, twice, a third time countered by Yoshiro floating over... PRAWN HOLD ROLLUP! One, two, kickout. Takeshi would hit Yoshiro with a big suplex then start stomping away, pulling him to his feet then TOSSING him into the corner... AVALA... NO! Yoshiro flips over the ropes to counter, goes to the top rope... PHOENIX DDT! Cover, one, two, kickout at two! Yoshiro attempts a Kudome Valentine but Takeshi is too heavy, tries a schoolboy instead but Takeshi blocks it by grabbing the ropes. Yoshiro gives up and goes to the ropes again... caught with the KNOCKOUT LARIAT! Cover, one, two, Yoshiro kicks out. Takeshi pulls him up to try to hit him with a Falcon Arrow Driver but Yoshiro elbows his way free, then hits him with a kneelkick! He goes to the top rope to try a moonsault, but Takeshi manages to get behind him, clubbing him in the back! Takeshi goes up for a Super Tokyo Bomb... but again Yoshiro fights it off... jawbreaker on the ringpost, crotching Monster Takeshi! Going back to the top rope himself, trying to put him in position for a “Tenmaku Heaven” (Avalanche Diamond Dust)... TAKESHI COUNTERS WITH A FLYING POWERSLAM! One, two, three!
AM: OH MAN! That was an amazing finish, and the Monster Takeshi looks like he’s getting back on track. Looks like Eric Gacy isn’t the only big lad on his way to the DPW Title. Next is an interesting confrontation... Joe “Danger” Smith, probably the most hated man in DPW right now, facing off the man who used to hold that spot, Chris Koger, who has not only resisted the Nightmares but actually fought against them!
Joe “Danger” Smith vs Chris Koger
Smith started this out with a punch to the midsection, following up with a knee lift and a big slam. Koger got to his feet and delivered a big shoulder tackle, following up with an elbow drop and a cover for a one count. Koger would pick him up by the head and put him in a headlock, Smith throwing him into the ropes and hitting a shoulder tackle of his own. Lifting Chris up he went for a suplex, but Koger blocked it, attempting his own but Smith would punch him in the ribs, and then hitting a DDT. Smith would hit a lariat, following up with a leg drop and a cover for a two count. Koger would get picked up again, but forearm Smith in the abdomen, following up with a European Uppercut and a snapmare, locking in a sleeper. Smith would get to a vertical base, then get into a headlock, elbowing Koger in the midsection... then he managed to get a hold of Koger’s leg... modified Mountain Bomb! Smith would then lift Koger and throw him to the ropes... FLYING HEADSCISSORS! Koger would get to his feet... BLITZ! One, two, three!
AM: That vicious blitz by Joe “Danger” Smith, one of the most effective finishing moves in the business. And... oh great he’s got a mic again.
JDS: Wake up, Koger.
Koger manages to sit up, favoring his abdomen. O’Brian gets on the PA system to translate for the live audience.
JDS: Koger... you don’t buy October Raven’s crap do you? Fighting for respect and honor? You know you don’t believe in that BS. You’re just whipped because O’Brian kicked your ass. You know just as much as I do... you want to destroy this company. The Nightmares are done with... but you and me, Koger... we can form an alliance that will take over.... a Power Play that the DPW will never forget...
Koger gets up, and takes the mic.
Koger: Power Play, huh? ...I’m in.
Koger and Smith shake hands.
JDS: And October Raven... this time, we WILL take the DPW title. Just you watch and see. And that will just be the beginning of the end.
AM: I don’t believe this.... Koger and Smith teaming up... coming up next, the Geek Squad’s first title defense, against the tandem of REIKA and Frank Desmond.
DPW Tag Team Titles: REIKA/Desmond vs Geek Squad(c)
Xander Starr and Sam S McCloud were dressed in black slacks, white button-up shirts, black necktie and glasses. Sam and REIKA started this out, collar and elbow, Sam gets an arm drag, REIKA gets up and delivers one of her own, followed by a drop toe hold transitioned into a headlock. Sam got to his feet, pushed her off, and got a tag. Xander would get to a springboard and delivered a big dropkick, sending REIKA to her corner for a tag. Desmond would try for a lariat but Xander ducked down and when they both turned around, big kneel kick! Xander would then try for a sweep kick but Desmond would jump over it and elbow drop Xander, picking him up and following up with a big slam. Desmond lifted Xander up and threw him to the ropes, blind tag by Sam, Desmond would try for a spinebuster but Sam dropkicked Xander allowing Xander to land on top Thesz Press style! The Geek Squad then hit a double dropkick before Sam would be on his own... he went up top for a Frog Splash but Desmond got the knees up, tag to REIKA! REIKA would hit a flying lariat and then a Northern Lights Suplex Hold, but Xander broke her bridge with a Hilo! Desmond in the ring too, puts his hand on Xander’s neck for a chokeslam, lifting him up... COUNTER WITH AN ARM DRAG! Sam would stun REIKA with a “Hundred Hand Slap” then the Geek Squad got in position... FLASH DRIVE (Double Ore Ga Taue)! One, two, three!
AM: Nice effort by the boyfriend/girlfriend tandem, but Xander and Sam are two wily young lads. Coming up next, DPW’s former tag team and world champion, Corey O’Brian, faces off against Masashi Togashi. O’Brian got his start in Japan, and Togashi was a former champion of Pro Wrestling VICTORY, having his last match with that promotion right here in the Tokyo Dome. Before we get to that though, some announcements: DPW-J is coming back to the Davie PAL soon. Also, don’t forget to check out the newest shows in the UBL, as well as BIFF. Finally, the date is coming for the World Warriors supershow... on the card, Chris DaMico, wether he walks out of the Tokyo Dome with the DPW title or not, will face UBL’s Thunderstrike. Also, check your local listings for the next DPW-J taping, which will feature Bloody Mary and NEVADA defending the DPW-J tag team championship.
Corey O’Brian vs. Masashi Togashi
O’Brian and Togashi started off by locking horns, O’Brian getting a headlock until Togashi finds a backdoor and gets a hammerlock. O’Brian bent over and rolled through into a kneebar but Togashi got to the ropes. O’Brian would get snapmared and put in a chinlock. O’Brian got to his feet then threw Togashi over his shoulder judo style! O’Brian would hold on to the arm he threw Togashi with and delivered a leg drop, then applied a keylock. Togashi bridged to alleviate the pressure, O’Brian getting up and applying an armlock that the bridge wouldn’t defeat, forcing Togashi to get to the ropes. O’Brian picked Togashi up and wrenched the same arm, elbowing it, Togashi rolling out of the arm wrench and hitting Corey with a back elbow with the other arm.
AM: Corey working the right arm, and Togashi is not a lefty, so we might not see as many chops or elbows from the Dragon King. That’s the kind of wrestler O’Brian is, he studies his opponents inside and out. He knows what arm they favor for strikes, wether they lift more with their back or their legs... so many things his opponent might not even be aware of.
Togashi hit a scoop slam and knee drop to the sternum of O’Brian for a two count. Corey would get up but Togashi would deliver a jumping knee to the temple of the former champ... O’Brian gets up again and Togashi tries a Suicide Plex but O’Brian frees an arm and hits a series of knees to the midsection, then a belly to belly! Corey picks Togashi up... CORE MELTDOWN! But instead of a cover... Corey picks Togashi up, ANOTHER CORE MELTDOWN! One, two, three!
AM: Togashi was OUT after that first Core Meltdown, that second one was completely unnessecary... Corey just stares at the unconsious Togashi... that’s just... unlike him. Coming up next, though, our main event. Jintaro Mazaki is firmly set to finally get the title he’s tried on three occasions to capture. Chris DaMico may be in a precarious state too, as he might be looking past Mazaki and at Thunderstrike...
DPW World Title: Jintaro Mazaki vs Chris DaMico (c)
Jintaro threw some low kicks at DaMico to keep him on his toes at first, then charged forward but DaMico would sidestep and trip him up. DaMico would then hit a pair of hiptosses and a Japanese Arm Drag, transitioning to an armlock. Jintaro did a kip-up and reversed the armlock by throwing DaMico then hit a leg drop for a one count. Jintaro would throw him down judo style next and go for an early J-STF but DaMico kicked himself free, got up, dropped into a guard, crossed Jintaro’s arms and wraps his legs around them!
AM: Twelve Seconds Magic!
Jintaro managed to pull himself to the ropes, forcing DaMico to break and the two got to a vertical base. This time Jintaro got the drop toe hold and transitioned to an elbow drop and headlock, DaMico getting to his feet then hitting a bridging backdrop for a two count. DaMico set for a DaMico DDT but Jintaro got a Northern Lights Suplex for a two count. DaMico went for a superkick but Jintaro caught it... STANDING J-STF! DaMico managed to get to the ropes, but Jintaro kept on and delivered a snapmare followed by a kick to the back. DaMico rolled to his feet and went for a one-legged dropkick but Jintaro blocked it... DaMico got to his feet... J-Cutter! One, two, kickout. Jintaro pulled himself up and went for a J-Germany... DaMico elbowed and got the go-behind... on the shoulders... Jintaro shook him off... INTO A J-GERMANY! ONE, TWO, KICKOUT! DaMico would go for an Emerald Frosion but Jintaro got the backdoor again... REGAL PLEX! ONE, TWO, KICKOUT AGAIN! Jintaro argued with referee Matt Weston, allowing DaMico to recover...turns Jintaro around, DaMico DDT! One, two, th- NO! Jintaro set up for the “J-Rush”, but the sobat was caught...dragon screw by DaMico... JINTARO CLUTCHING HIS LEG IN PAIN!
AM: DAMICO MIGHT HAVE BROKEN JINTARO’S LEG!
DaMico pulled him up... La Rosa Del Entiero! Jintaro taps out !
AM: AND IT’S OVER! DaMico retains! Jintaro is still favoring his leg though... DaMico helps him up and the ring crew help Mr. J to the back... WAIT A SECOND! KOGER AND SMITH! THEY’RE RUSHING THE RING, DOUBLE LARIAT TO DAMICO! Koger picks up DaMico... whip to Smith... BLITZ! They’re now picking up the DPW title... what the hell is going on... wait here comes the boss, and Corey too to translate.
OR: If you two think I’m going to let you leave Japan with that belt, you’re either stupid or insane. Now, you two give me ONE GOOD REASON why I shouldn’t fire you on the spot.
Koger: Because if you do, we’ll sell this belt to the Yakuza. Smith knows a guy who knows a guy, he’ll do it.
OR: ...Okay, I’ll tell you what. Drop the belt, leave it in the ring and leave... and I’ll let one of you two assholes have a title match. Not at the next show, though... I’m giving that to someone you, Koger, screwed out of a title win right here in the Tokyo Dome... and while he lost his rematch of that encounter... well, Jintaro’s partner Yoshiro Tenmaku is overdue for another shot at the belt.
AM: That’ll be one to see!
OR: So you’ll be announcing who gets the title shot at the next show. And that’s ALL you two will be doing because you won’t be wrestling. Now... you can take that offer... or I can send EVERYONE in the back out to take that belt from you. Your choice.
Smith and Koger look to each other, and nod, Smith dropping the belt on DaMico’s body.
AM: The Power Play making their presence felt in DPW right off the bat... and once again these two have shown they will stoop to any low to get a shot at the gold. Until next time though, good night!

FINAL SHODOWN 2008 RESULTS
Live at the Sold Out BankAntlantic Center
AM: Angus MacDudley here to welcome you to our send-off to a great 2008. My commentary partner Xander Starr is not with me tonight, he is in the DPW Tag Team Title Match against the unstoppable Satanic Legion. Also tonight, a rematch between Chris DaMico and Corey O’Brian, and a cage match to decide the fate of DPW. But first! Two back-to-back DPW-J Title matches, first off Team Chuu Chuu defends their titles for the first time against April Ryan and Krystal Baker, two very well-rounded technicians.
DPW-J Tag Team Title Match: April Ryan and Krystal Baker vs Team Chuu Chuu(c)
Ryan and Yaoi started off, locking up and Ryan getting a single leg and trying a leglock but Yaoi rolled through to escape it and delivered a senton followed by a scoop slam. Tag to Yuri who leaped over the top rope and hit a standing moonsault for a two count. Yuri follows this up with an armdrag but Ryan stops a second one with an elbow before tagging out. Krystal puts Yuri in a headlock and takes her to the challenger side of the ring, getting a suplex and following up with a chinlock. Yuri uses her legs and flexibility to kick Krystal in the forehead, kipping up and delivering a senton. Krystal managed to stop her from making a tag, tagging out to April and delivering a double DDT and a leglock by Ryan.
Yaoi broke the submission attempt and Ryan would deliver a knee drop to Yuri’s leg, trying to stop her from getting the tag. She threw Yuri to her corner but got reversed and Yuri followed it up with a Rewind Rana for a two count broken by Baker. Ryan delivered a backdrop and went to the ropes for a big knee drop but Yuri rolled away then went up top for a “Chuu Chuu Rocket” but Baker grabbed her leg long enough for April to grab her leg for a top rope dragon screw. Tag to Baker who sets up for the “Krystal Cutter” but Yuri counters...”CHUU CHUU SLAM EX” (Rock Bottom) desperation tag to Yaoi who immediately set up for the “Chuu Chuu Clutch” (Gannosuke Clutch) but Baker got a side suplex and a flying elbow drop. She would throw Yaoi in the corner and charge in for a lariat, but Yaoi rolled away, hit an axe kick, then a Delphin Clutch! One, two, three!
AM: WOAH! Out of nowhere with that Delphin Clutch, and the tag team champions of DPW-J retain their belts! Next up lads and lasses is the DPW-J World Title Match. Gutter has already become a huge name in a short time, winning both the DPW-J title AND the WCCF Women’s Title. She faces off against Bloody Mary, one of DPW-J’s most feared competitors. And it’s not just her fighting skill, it’s her presence. Her clothes are covered in blood, she comes out to a cover of “Raining Blood” performed by a death metal band called Vader, and she just inspires FEAR in people. On the other hand, Gutter’s not one who is easily intimidated. Let’s see how this one turns out.
DPW-J Title Match: Bloody Mary vs Gutter(c)
Gutter and Bloody Mary exchanged punches at first, Gutter delivering a headbutt and following up with a scoop slam and a headbutt to the midsection. Mary got to her feet and hit some elbows and threw Gutter to the ropes and hitting a lariat and following up with a headlock. Gutter freed herself and hit a quick 1-2 before getting a fireman’s carry and a one count cover. Mary reversed an Irish Whip and delivered a backbreaker and an elbow drop, then threw Gutter over the top rope!
Mary followed Gutter to the floor and hit a suplex on the outside before pulling off the padding. She went for a piledriver but Gutter countered with a single leg and pounded away. At 15 Gutter got back into the ring and Mary followed shortly after. Gutter would hit a dropkick and knock Mary to the ropes, going to follow up with a lariat but Mary ducked and tossed Gutter over the ropes and onto the unpadded floor!
Gutter managed to struggle to her feet and back in the ring, and Bloody Mary would head to the top rope... “Stairway to Hell” (Flying Double Stomp)! A two count followed and Bloody Mary would pick Gutter up, who delivered several strikes and a roundhouse kick, flipping off Bloody Mary, and UNLOADING with right hands! Mary hit the floor and Gutter went to the top rope for the Mad Splash... but Mary got the knees up! She picked up Gutter to set up for the “Go 2 Hell” but Gutter countered... desperation Gutter Cleaner! The cover... one... two... NO!
Gutter would go for a lariat, but Mary ducked and Gutter decked the ref by accident! She was put in a Mary rollup, but it seemed that Mary was reaching into Gutter’s back pocket! Gutter, incensed, tried for a backdrop but Mary flicked open the switchblade she grabbed from Gutter’s pocket, pulled up her headband, and CUT HER FOREHEAD OPEN! Gutter took the blade back but the referee woke up and made her give it to him. After explaining she’d lose her title if she didn’t Gutter reluctantly handed over the weapon, and turned around... and Mary locked in a standing Anaconda Vice!
AM: She calls this “Die For Me”...
The blood loss made the choke even worse, and Gutter started fading, and the referee would eventually call for the bell! Bloody Mary released Gutter and let her plop to the canvas as she took the belt!
AM: One could argue that Bloody Mary robbed Gutter by using that switchblade, but that chokehold has spelt the doom of many a wrestler. If I could play Devil’s Advocate though, Gutter shouldn’t have had that knife with her in the first place. No matter how you look at it, though, we have a new DPW-J champion. Coming up next is “Epic Win” Jin Haisha against “The Anarchist” Kevin Williams
Jin Haisha vs Kevin Williams
They locked up in the center of the ring, Williams got a snapmare and a headlock, Haisha slipping out of the lock and hitting a dropkick to Williams and applying a keylock. Williams got to the ropes and got back to a vertical base, hitting a pair of elbows and slamming Haisha down for a knee drop. Williams would go to the ropes for a flip senton but Haisha rolled away and hit an elbow drop to the chest of Kevin Williams. Haisha would pull Kevin up and hit a DDT before following up with a single leg crab, Kevin getting to the ropes.
Kevin would get a fireman’s carry and deliver a legdrop to follow up, going for the top rope. Haisha got to his feet and Kevin nailed a big dropkick! He then headed to the ropes to hit an “Anarchy Stomp” for a two count. Kevin would go for the Irish Whip and “Anarchy Round The World” (Delphin Backbreaker), but Haisha slipped out, and hit him with a pumphandle into a powerbomb! One, two, three!
AM: What a move by Jin Haisha and he manages a big upset over one-half of Anarchy in the UK! Coming up next though, the energetic female phenom REIKA goes one on one against former tag team champion Amazing Jean-Paul
REIKA vs Amazing Jean-Paul
REIKA and AJP would lock up and REIKA would get an armdrag, heading to the ropes and when AJP gets up she would go for a nice crossbody for a one count. AJP got a snapmare takeover and a legdrop, picking her up and following with a hiptoss and a kick to the back of REIKA. AJP was thrown to the ropes but jumped on the second rope and hit REIKA with a flying Baba neckbreaker, getting a two count. REIKA now would set up for the Nothern Lights Suplex Hold but AJP freed himself and landed on his feet, and when REIKA turned around she ate a spin kick! Jean-Paul went for the Shooting Star Press but REIKA got the knees up and applied an Octopus Hold but Jean-Paul got to the ropes. AJP would block a REIKA bulldog throwing her into the ropes but she would duck an inside leg roundhouse to hit him with a flying lariat! REIKA would go up for the REIKA DiveBomb but took too long and AJP got up. REIKA would go for a spinkick from the top but AJP caught her IN MIDAIR for a powerbomb! AJP would then hoist REIKA up, put her in a cutter position, and hit a standing Shiranui!
AM: He calls that “C’est Magnifique”! One, two, three! What a win for Jean-Paul! But now is the time where things are going to get ugly. An unlikely duo of Mike Blood and Chris Koger... who are already starting daggers at each other... face off against part of Joe “Danger” Smith’s Nightmares, Shinokumo and the simply SCARY “Halloween” Edward Jones.
Mike Blood and Chris Koger vs Shinokumo and “Halloween” Edward Jones
Blood and Koger fought over who would go in first, and Shinokumo would bumrush Blood from behind and clobber him in the back of the forearm and throw him to the ropes for a dropkick to the shin followed by a side headlock. Blood would manage to get to his feet and shove Shinokumo off hitting him with a superkick and SMACKING Koger in the chest.
AM: Koger’s not exactly the most popular guy in the locker room, and Blood is one of the many enemies he made since his debut.
Koger would go in the ring and hit Shinokumo with a pair of running forearms causing Shinokumo to tag out to “Halloween” who rolled under the bottom rope and crawled around on all fours. Koger would try to elbow drop him but he rolled out of the way and hit a knee-dt and a half crab. Koger got to the ropes and hit a slam on Jones, following up with a knee drop and a belly to belly for a two count. He threw Jones to the ropes but Jones answered with a lariat and crawled to Shinokumo for the tag. Shinokumo went up to the top and hit a knee drop and rolled to Blood and spit mist in his face! Blood slipped off the apron and the ref looked over to him allowing Jones to choke Koger. Shinokumo would get the referee’s attention and hit a brainbuster and a tag to Edward Jones and went for a suplex but dropped into a stunner, following up with a Dragon Clutch! Koger escaped again and hit a Patriot Act going to the top for a flying elbow but Shinokumo grabbed his leg. Koger kicked Shinokumo off but it was too late so instead of an elbow he dropped off and tagged Blood! Blood would run to Edward Jones and hit a Kenka Kick, Shinokumo would come in but he would eat a LARIATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! As Blood rolled Shinokumo out of the ring, Edward Jones recovered, chopping Blood and throwing him to the ropes... Tilt-A-Whirl Elm Street Slam! Jones would then lock in the Vorhees Clutch, but Koger would make the save. Blood would be dragged to their corner by Koger who would get on the apron and ‘tag’ Blood. Koger would enter the ring hitting Jones with a jumping knee and followed up with a Koger Driver! One, two, three!
AM: Never thought I’d be glad to see Chris Koger win a match, but there you go folks, Koger and Blood have beaten the Nightmares! Coming up next though is the moment I’ve personally been waiting for, The Geek Squad of Xander Starr and Sam S McCloud are facing the Satanic Legion.
Starr and McCloud come out to an October Raven Productions mix of “Burn My Dread” from the Persona 3 sountrack and Metal Man’s theme from Mega Man II. McCloud is dressed up like the main character of Persona 3 while Starr is wearing a shirt that reads “I got my FLEX gimmick stolen and all I got was this lousy T-Shirt”.
DPW Tag Team Title Match: Geek Squad vs Satanic Legion (c)
Sam and Raiku started out, Raiku would hit a knee to the midsection followed by a big slam, the elbow drop however would be missed as Sam rolled away, standing up and hitting a flip senton. Raiku got to his feet and Sam headed to the ropes, hitting an “E Honda Special” (flying shoulder block) but Raiku didn’t go down. Raiku would deliver a hiptoss and a knee drop. Sam would manage to tag out and Xander jumped over the ropes and got a handspring into a flying headscissors! Xander followed up with a standing moonsault and got a cover. One, two, kickout. Xander hit a kneelkick but this sent Raiku into the corner and Gacy made the tag. Gacy went for a forearm and decked Xander, knocking Sam off the apron too. Gacy would deliver some stomps to the face of Xander. Sam tried to get in the ring and the ref would be distracted, allowing the Legion to deliver a two-man powerbomb!
Gacy would hit a shoulderbreaker followed up with an elbow drop, getting a two count. Gacy then threw Xander to the ropes and went for a "Spike Through Your Head" but Xander ducked under it and SWEPT THE LEG, JOHNNY! Xander then hit an Armani Shoe Exchange and tagged out to Sam. Sam would get on the top rope and hit a frog splash for a two count, then Gacy would deliver a series of elbows, then smashed Sam into the turnbuckle. Tag to Raiku and the two of them would set up in the corner for a spike piledriver, but Xander would run to that corner, leap off of Raiku's back and do a rana to the floor to Gacy, but Xander held on to deliver a springboard mushroom stomp to Raiku! Sam and Xander would then get behind Raiku in the middle of the ring and hit that double Ore Ga Taue that is called the "Geek Out"! One, two, THREE!
AM: NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! That was an AMAZING comeback! And now they are getting ready to lower the cage for the next match that will determine the fate of DPW. Joe “Danger” Smith puts his immunity on the line against October Raven, and if Smith wins he also wins this company! This is going to get brutal and fast.
CAGE MATCH: Joe “Danger” Smith vs October Raven
OR and Smith come out swinging exchanging elbows, OR stunning Smith with a headbutt, then SHOOTING IN and raining down headbutts from the guard. Smith manages to fight the boss off and grabs his head throwing him into the cage, then applying a camel clutch. OR would break Smith’s grip and elbow him off, hitting a kitchen sink to Smith followed by an elbow drop to the back of the head. Smith recovered and hits a scoop and a slam followed by a leg drop and a pin for a two count. Smith would pick up the boss and hit a big DDT, bouncing off the ropes for a kneedrop, then lift him up again to throw him into the corner. Smith would then head to an opposite side of the cage and slam his fist three times onto the wall... and Edward Jones crawls out from under the ring!
AM: How the! I guess with the fanfare of the cage being lowered he was able to hide there unnoticed!
Jones would heave a biker chain over the cage and Smith caught it, wrapping it around his fist and DECKING OR with it, then wrapping it around his neck to try to choke him out! OR started to fade... then elbowed Smith in the midsection twice, throwing him into the ropes and hitting a ‘head lariat’! He would wrap his own hand with the chain and GRIND IT ON SMITHS FACE, making him bleed! He removed the chain and tossed it aside, he would head to the top rope and go for a flying elbow, but Smith rolled out of the way! Smith would pick OR up and set up for the “Goalpost Tombstone” (Sitout Tombstone) but OR managed to get free... KATAHAJIM... NO LOWBLOW! Smith would head to the ropes for a Blitz, but OR would duck down... and Smith would walk right into position... FINAL MASSACRE! OR would then put the final nail in the coffin with a Katahajime, and Smith would be choked out for the end of this brutal match!
AM: HE DID IT! THE BOSS PULLED IT OFF!
The cage raised and OR got a mic.
OR: Alright you son of a bitch... you are getting the HELL away from this building. You and all your Nightmares. If I see ANYBODY, wether he’s with this motherfucking piece of shit or not, interfering in the title match, they will be fired on the spot. And should that interference and in injury, I’m going to have you arrested for battery.
AM: OR laying down the law here... and this is going to be a hell of a sendoff to this epic 2008. Chris DaMico and Corey O’Brian, two technical masters facing off to prove who is the best wrestler on the planet.
MAIN EVENT FOR THE DPW TITLE: Chris DaMico vs Corey O’Brian (c)
DaMico and O’Brian start with a handshake before locking up, O’Brian getting a headlock takecover countered by a headscissors that Corey escapes with a jackknife pin that DaMico counters with a sunset flip-style roll, but O’Brian rolls through setting up for a Figure Four but DaMico catches his head and goes for a small package for a two count. DaMico goes for a single leg and floats over for a headlock but Corey manages to switch to his back then roll DaMico onto his shoulders but DaMico gets free and applies a Keylock and Corey bridges up, DaMico trying to transition to a Kimura on the other arm but Corey manages to catch him with a rollup this time for a nearfall. Back to a vertical base and O’Brian gets the headlock again, this time not opting for a takedown but instead going into a bulldog and transitioning to a JUST Facelock, but DaMico gets to the ropes. DaMico then tries to shoot in but ends up being forced to pull guard, but he grabs O’Brian’s arms and crosses them while wrapping his legs around Corey’s arms with his shoelaces pressed against his neck! Corey gets his feet on the floor and hoists DaMico up and slams him down to break the hold, getting a leglock but DaMico would roll out of it to escape.
DaMico would whip O’Brian into the ropes and get a drop toe hold and going to a Japan Roll Leg Clutch, but Corey rolled through and managed to get DaMico on his shoulders and get a Japan Leg Roll Clutch of his own for a two count. Back to a vertical base and DaMico went for the DaMico DDT but Corey would slip out of the chancery and get a hammerlock and set up for a modified Millenium Suplex but DaMico landed on his feet and went to the ropes to hit the one-legged dropkick! DaMico would start with a figure four but when Corey sat up Chris DaMico bent forward and secured his arms for a NOSAWA Clutch for a nearfall! O’Brian would get to his feet and get an arm drag and followed up with a spinning toe hold, but DaMico kicked him in the chest to break it up! DaMico rolled to his feet for another standoff!
O’Brian locked up DaMico again, pulling him into a chancery position for a basic neck lock, but DaMico would pop his head out and deliver a chop. O’Brian would answer with a chop of his own and the two would trade chop for chop. DaMico would whiff a chop and Corey would hit a Shotei, then grab him by the head and bring him to the corner for a Calf Branding! Corey would measure him up for a Shining Black but DaMico rolled away, got another drop toe hold and went for a camel clutch! O’Brian broke DaMico’s grip and elbow him off and get back to a vertical base for a big vertical suplex and going to the top rope... a rare moonsault from O’Brian! One, two, kickout.
O’Brian would set up now for a Fisherman’s Buster but DaMico floated over and managed to get a prawn hold for a two count. Undeterred DaMico would grab his arm and set up for “La Rosa Del Entiero” but Corey would elbow himself away before DaMico could get the roll. DaMico would hit a kneel kick then pick O’Brian up... and THIS TIME HE GOT IT!
AM: THIS IS IT! COREY WAS TRAPPED IN THIS HOLD THE FIRST TIME THEY MET!
Corey would plant one of his feet on the canvas, and after twenty seconds of stuggling managed to get his arm free and used it to get his leg free and he escaped the hold!
AM: WOW! Nobody had managed to escape that hold before, but the master of a million moves managed to find a way out!
DaMico would set up for the Emerald Frosion but Corey escaped and put DaMico in position for the Core Meltdown but DaMico backdropped out of it! DaMico would then hop on Corey’s shoulders to deliver the Mysterio Rana but Corey quickly ran to the corner and hit a turnbuckle powerbomb! Still holding on to DaMico’s legs, he did a quick 180... CORE MELTDOWN! ONE, TWO, KICKOUT! O’Brian would try to hoist him up for the Kinniku Buster, but DaMico blocked it, got back to his feet, DaMico DDT! Cover, one, two, kickout. O’Brian would get to his feet, chop DaMico in the throat then throw him into the corner... he would then hoist DaMico onto the top rope facing the outside...
AM: Avalanche Core Meltdown coming up! This will be the end!
O’Brian climbed to the top and prepared to lift DaMico for the end... but DaMico blocked it... AVALANCHE SCHWEIN! DaMico would put O’Brian back in La Rosa Del Entiero, and O’Brian seemed completely immobile! The referee verbally checked O’Brian.... once.... twice.... and he then waved his arms!
AM: It’s over! DaMico is the new DPW Champion! I’m being told it’s being ruled as a technical submission as Corey did not actually give up, but a win by any means is a win in DPW!
DaMico would revive O’Brian, who got up and SHOT at DaMico, but looked up realizing DaMico’s theme was playing then stepped off, helping the new champion up and raising his hand!
AM: O’Brian was probably thinking the fight was still going on but now that he gets it he’s showing his sportsmanship.
O’Brian starts favoring his neck as he gets a mic.
CO: DaMico... you deserve it, man. I’m not making any excuses... you won that fair and square. But remember this, DaMico.... nobody beats me the same way twice. I’ll be coming for that belt again, and if you’re not ready for it, I’ll be taking it back.
AM: Well there you go folks, new champions and what looks to be a great start for 2009 for Demolition Pro Wrestling! Good night and happy new year!
