DPW In Osaka results

AM: Ladies and gentlemen here we are LIVE in the Osaka Dome! Not a seat is empty as we're reaching the end of the Japan Tour. I'm Angus MacDudley and with me is Xander Starr, take it Xander!

XS: Huge, huge card we got lined up, the semifinals of the DPW Tag Team Tournament, Raiku Daisatsu faces Hotaka Tokudo, and for the World Championship, Masashi Togashi challenges the reign of terror that is Monster Takeshi.

AM: Let's not forget the big grudge match, lumberjack rules between Jintaro Mazaki and The Sexy Hero Revolution Yoshiro Tenmaku. Big stakes there, Xander.

XS: That's for sure, Angus. The winner will main event at the Tokyo Dome show, the loser won't even be able to buy a ticket.

AM: But that's all to come folks. We open up as always with Jin Haisha, who faces "Mr. Las Vegas" Frank Desmond.

Jin Haisha X <9:02- Chokeslam> Frank Desmond O

XS: Well Haisha was really showing some momentum there, but Frank Desmond brought that to a screeching halt with one of those chokeslams out of nowhere, followed by another for good measure and the win.

AM: I never thought Haisha was closer to winning a bout than tonight, but it wasn't to be. Mr. Las Vegas caught him on the river, and Haisha crapped out.

XS: Well gambling metaphors aside, that was just the first of many matches we have lined up for you, folks.

AM: That's right, next up is Thomas Clarke against the phenom REIKA. Both wrestlers have been in a slump as of late, hopefully one of them can turn that around here.

Thomas Clarke O <23:15- Snap Butterfly -> Half Crab> REIKA X

XS: What a great match by both athletes! REIKA showed a ton of heart but the experience and skill of Thomas Clarke was too much for her.

AM: Regardless, REIKA has amazing potential, and hopefully she'll be able to put it all together. Coming up next is the first of the semi-final tag matches, "The King of Roses" Chris DaMico and Robert Gemini against the O'Brian cousins.

XS: Socks is fresh off his first pinfall in DPW and let me tell you, Angus, the kid is absolutely pumped for this one. DaMico and Gemini might have their hands full.

DaMico X/Gemini <25:44- Death Note> Socks/Corey O

AM: The Death Note! That backdrop-chokebreaker combination! Corey and Socks advance to the finals!

XS: Not to take anything away from DaMico and Gemini, but the O'Brians were in top form, showing lots of teamwork. And the two teams are shaking hands as we get ready for our next contest, and I doubt there will be a handshake between these two.

AM: I have to agree. The Battle Lord, Hotaka Tokudo, faces the vile warrior Raiku Daisatsu, who is looking to get back the momentum he lost to Mike Blood. Tokudo himself is looking to bounce back from being defeated at our last event as well. Let's see how it turns out.

Raiku Daisatsu <18:40- Karelin's Lift> Hotaka Tokudo O

XS: Nicely done by Tokudo, a well earned victory against one of the most sadistic heavy hitters in the industry.

AM: One had to wonder if Tokudo would be able to beat a man who uses his own head as a weapon with head drop moves, but apparently something had to give. Daisatsu suffers another loss as he tries to get back to his groove.

XS: Don't say 'groove' again, Angus. Next up, "The Anarchist" Kevin Williams hopes to get the rub from his tag team partner's victory as he faces The Razorback, Mike Blood. Mike Blood had challenged for the title, and despite using his best offense, got felled by a Falcon Arrow Driver.

AM: Kevin Williams on the other hand is looking for the big oppurtunity that awaits him if he can get the upset win over The Razorback. It'll be interesting to see who comes out on top here.

Kevin Williams X <11:31- LARIATOOOOO!> Mike Blood O

XS & AM: LARIATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

XS: And Mike Blood picks up the win with his signature Lariat, making short work out of the Anarchist. Looks like tonight isn't going to be Kevin's big break either, Angus.

AM: Well lad, we'll see if two other young lions can do what Kevin failed to do. Amazing Jean-Paul and Tony Pescarelli take on the undefeated tag team combination, Red Death, Shinokumo and Genocide. They absolutely ran right through Desmond and REIKA, and they are looking to do the same tonight.

XS: And don't forget, the winners face off against Corey and Socks O'Brian to crown the first tag team champions!

Pescarelli/AJP X <23:25- Ref Stoppage via Kimura Armbar> Genocide O/Shinokumo

XS: Ouch. Just... ouch. A bloodied Jean-Paul got absolutely destroyed by Red Death.

AM: Shinokumo with a brainbuster, and Genocide with that vicious Kimura Armbar, and the referee had no choice but to stop to the match for Jean-Paul's safety.

XS: Red Death head to the back to prepare for the Dome Show, meanwhile Tony is reviving Amazing Jean-Paul...

::The feed to the announcers is suddenly cut off::

???: Enough of this. Look at this sorry excuse for a company. Bunch of kids and wannabes. You got a woman wrestling, a bunch of Eurotrash pansies, and a wannabe Ken Shamrock in a mask. This company needs The American Made Man, Chris Koger. Now back to your regularly scheduled trash.

::The feed returns::

XS: Are we on? We are? Good. We apologize for those technical difficulties, folks. And now we go to the grudge match. At our last show, Team Handsome Tokyo ended up losing once again, and Jintaro took exception to that, assaulting Yoshiro Tenmaku and beating him into the middle of the ring. So to settle the score, the two are facing off with high stakes. Not only that, it's lumberjack rules. Everyone in the roster, except Togashi and Takeshi who are preparing for their match, are going to make sure the action stays in the ring.

Mazaki X <19:19- Snap Suplex-> Floatover Pin> Tenmaku O

XS: What a finish! Tenmaku pulled out a quick fall out of nowhere after that snap suplex. Mazaki can't believe it!

AM: Tenmaku can't either! He's going to face whoever is the champion at the end of the night at the Tokyo Dome! And to cap it off, Mazaki has to watch it from home. Wait a second, the two are facing off.. Tenmaku extends his hand...

XS: And Mazaki shakes! I think we haven't seen the last of Team Handsome Tokyo!

AM: Well we won't be seeing them at the Dome Show, but we will be seeing Tenmaku. The only question is, who is he going to face? Will it be the dominant, seemingly invincible champion Monster Takeshi, or the legendary Dragon King Masashi Togashi?

Togashi X <12:43- Knockout via Tokyo Tower Bomb> Takeshi O

XS: Oh man... I don't like this.. Togashi's not even twitching...

AM: I know what you mean... the referee is throwing up an X...

XS: Seconds are trying to get a sign of life from Togashi, while Monster Takeshi poses with the DPW title belt, showing no concern for his fallen opponent.

AM: Paramedics are taking Togashi out of the ring... we're out of time so we're going to have to end the broadcast... have a good night everyone.
